Wow, sorry that you have to go through this!! Could the antibiotic your taking be causing the upset stomach and vomiting. Was it Bactrim? My grand-daughter can't take it because it makes her vomit.
Take care! Kathy

I took Keflex the first day .. about 9 pm?? Severe nausea hit me around 10:30 or 11.
I ALWAYS take abx with food. Always.
Thanks.....I just dread tonight. I'm going to take anti-nausea stuff ahead of time.

tutu,
so sorry to read this.
i went out with my 3 closest friends today for lunch; never having been there. had a veggie burger w/black beans and monto bello mushrooms in it ... very strong and great onion rings.
i got home and diarrhea galore hit me and then vomiting! got rid of it all and slept all afternoon. wasn't fun; so best wishes my friend!
Ihave been ill the last 7 days and threw up most of them. Finally ended up in the ER dehydrated. After I first threw up the doc said I had a sinus infection and gave me omnicef which just made it worse.
So, it could just be a stomach bug, but the one that hit me has laid me out!!
Feel better soon. Hiker53

I'm sorry you've been ill, hiker! ICK! 7 days worth!
My situation doesn't seem to be related to any virus. I made it through last night with anti-nausea meds ahead of time! Beat the nausea to the punch!
I'm only slightly nauseous today. Seem to be past the worst. I think the infection was messingn with my kidneys.
Thanks all.

Hey TuTu...
I've been out of town for the past two weeks and am just now getting back to Lymenet - my how I've missed everyone!!
I had a horrible bout with bladder infections about a year and a half ago. I could NOT get rid of it and I was on every antibiotic under the sun.
I was nauseated and threw up constantly and even was admitted to the ER twice for dehydration - even though I was drinking gallons of water a day. I think between the vomiting and the infection my body just couldn't hang on to any fluids at all.
So yes, bladder infections can and do cause nausea and vomiting as well as body aches and generally feeling like total crap.
I feel for you because they're not fun and you have so much on your plate already. As always, sending prayers your way!!

Hey Mrs. Lymetoo.
My children threw up every night with that stomach flu.
Mostly fine all day long.
About an hour about going to bed it would hit them bad.
Can you get some phenergin (sp?) suppositories?
Knock you out and the nausea.
Hugs,
Geneal

hope you are feeling better. was reading the posts and looks like this has been going on for few days.
if the infection does involve the kidneys as well you would definetly get the nausea, vomiting, back pain, etc.
if symptoms do not improve on abt. may be that you are not on correct abt for infection??
also, phenergan is avial. in a cream form that you just rub on and relief!! nice option from the pills or even suppositories. i know i have prob. with supp. even
tend to have upset on both ends at the same time so cream is a blessing.
double check abt. you are on if not improving, was culture done? should help you know if on correct rx. best wishes
