My neighbor's mother did.
She had horrible foot pain.
Also terrible depression.
Cymbalta helped. So has bartonella treatment.

I believe Cymbalta is a psychotropic drug.
Whether it is or not, please look closely over the manufacturer's instructions, notes, side-effects, etc., which you can find on-line.
Many psychiatrists and MDs are paid by the drug industry (covertly) to either promote the use of drugs for un-approved uses or to actually prescribe them for un-approved uses.
Dr. Joseph Biederman, the psychiatrist who was the key opinion leader in the 40-fold increase in antipsychotics given to children is today's poster child--articles in the NY Times and Wall Street Journal exposing his money-grubbing with Big Pharma.
So, please do your own research, and recognize that much of the "reasearch" on drugs, especially psychoactive drugs (since there is no clear-cut physiologic test, so all "diagnosis" and "results" are based on opinion only) has been bought and paid for.
MedWatch for side effects is a useful resource.

I have taken Cymbalta for over two years. It cut my pain in half and did wonders for my depression. I know it doesn't work the same way for everyone, but I have had a good experience with it personally.

Cymbalta has helped with my pain, too.
In combination with TBD treatment.
It is useful for calming neuropathy, and is often used for diabetics with neuropathic pain (listed on patient insert).

I didn't notice a change in my pain with Cymbalta, but I did have a problem with my BP. It dropped to very low levels, despite its being previously well-controlled by meds.
That is listed as a side-effect of the drug, so if you have problems with orthostatic intolerance, such as POTS or NMH, be cautious and monitor you BP to make sure it remains stable.
I am no longer on Cymbalta, but back on Zoloft, which has worked well for me with depression in the past and has not affected my orthostatic intolerance.
