I was so busy this morning that I didn't take my meds. Then I didn't have lunch, although I did have breakfast. When I came home this afternoon, I took a bunch of my meds. I was hungry, but still in a hurry, so didn't eat anything. About an hour later I started feeling nauseous and while I was driving started to throw up.

I pulled over and threw up so much that I must not have had anything left in my stomach....meds included.

After getting home, I ate a couple pieces of bread and a little cheese, but I haven't taken my meds yet.

Should I wait until tomorrow to take my meds, or try later tonight? I feel like I need to eat a little more, but at the same time, I don't feel like eating, if that makes any sense.

Patti

Your stomach is too empty to take all those meds again. If it were me, I would rest and try and eat something (small portions)when you are up to it.

It doesn't sound like your tummy is ready for another assualt. Liquids would also be good (warm) if you can keep them down.

You need to have some food in your tummy to take more meds. Some yogurt would also be good to coat your stomach. Not medical advice, but it's what I would do.

Feel better,

Gael

Thanks for the advice everyone. I had some yogurt in the fridge, so I had that...didn't have any soda crackers, but I think I'll buy some. I like them anyway. I felt a lot better after having a little dinner and am starting back on my meds now.

Eat some animal protein, crackers, and drink Reed's Ginger Beer, and you should be ok to continue the abx. When I used to get sick from the abx, even when taken with a good meal, if I drank the ginger beer, I would feel much better. It must be this strong stuff, not regular ginger ale. Also, it doesn't have any sugar in it.

Hope you are feeling better.
