I am on rifampin, zithromax, omnicef, and mepron... I have had watery stools every morning and throughout the day as well... I told my dr and the nurse told me to stop all medicines and introduce them one by one once I have formed stools... I did this for a day and there wasnt much change.. I was truly scared to be off the medicine... She recommended culturella.. has anyone had success w/this probiotic?

Hi! I have had success with Danactive from the grocery store! You need the probiotics with all the abx killing off the good bacteria! A probiotic is good to take as well.

I had that unless I took VSL#3, a very strong probiotic. I had to take it practically the whole time I was on abx, but now that I'm off meds, I don't need it anymore.

It's important to keep the intestinal flora.

I was also taking Theralac and Ultra Flora daily as well.
