Has anyone experienced a herx as a result of a massage?
I've had 2 massages in the past 3 days, which I've never done before (I have to use up my credits at Massage Envy before my membership ends) and man am I feeling bad.
The herx symptoms could be more a result of having a rough week at work, or from re-starting an exercise routine, but was wondering if anyone else has experienced a post-massage herx?
My thoughts were that it could force spirochetes and/or toxins into the bloodstream.

Yes, a massage can cause a herx. Take it easy and drink lots of water. I don't really know if it's an actual herx, or a detox reaction, but many of us have experienced it.
