You can get 200 tablets for $28. At the site I normally use for supplements, the same size bottle costs $50.

And for 800 tablets at vitacost.com, it's only $89. (retails for $200)

Is this for real?

Has anyone ordered their Wobenzym from Vitacost.com?

Is it past the expiration or anything?

It is just so much cheaper there, I feel like there must be a catch!

Thanks!!!!

Probably not a hoax. Other companies rip consumers off terribly. [Smile]

Wow, maybe I really was getting ripped off.

Has anyone gotten their Wobenzym from either of those sites--Vitacost or Swanson? Does it take forever for it to get shipped to you?

(sometimes when I order supplements for a really good price online I get them like 2-3 weeks later, and I need my stuff now unfortunately).

you can go to Vitamin shoppe and get is just as cheaply. It has really come down in price yet there are still some selling it for way more.

I LOVE vitacost.. been buying from them for years. 5 days is about right for the $4.99 price. You can pay more and get it quicker.

Okay, that's not bad at all. Great!!

I recently ordered some chlorella that was a specific brand, and the price seemed too good to be true (it was a small website), and it definitely was....it was obvious this company ordered from THEIR supplier after I ordered from them, and it took me over 4 weeks to get it. Blah! Bad experience. This was from a small site though. So now I am leery of good deals.

Thank you!!!!

I buy regurlarly from vitacost and swansons.

Vitacost takes a week+ to get for me and Swansons is just a bit faster.

I have found that vitacost sometimes does not have products in stock which means that your whole order is held up until they can ship your order at one time unless you pay extra shipping or delete the item in question from your order. I paid extra shipping on one order but they never sent me my product and charged me for the shipping anyway. I had to call to get my money back.

I was sending my mom products from vitacost but they invariably packed bottles so that they would get broken. The order would be returned to the warehouse but no one would notify me or my mom and they never bothered to ship out new orders to replace the order that was returned despite the fact that they had already charged my credit card. Then my mom's nursing home would call and say she was completly out of the product and needed it ASAP!

This happened at least 5 X's over a 2 year period. I finally stopped buying anything that might break from them.

Vitacost is fine other than those few complaints. It's worth the hassle in order to save so much money.

Swansons is never a problem but they don't have some of the products that I need.

I recently had some problems with the vitacost website -- wouldn't let me list more than 5 items on my order form. So I called the order in and was able to ask and find out if anything was out of stock before finalizing the order.

I also like vitaminshoppe for generic things. They send frequent e-mail coupons which can be used online or in their stores. If I order from the internet I go through the Comfort Inn shopping mall site and earn points for free hotel stays. Plus vitaminshoppe awards points that are paid out annually against future purchases.

Thanks, bea... That's good to know about Comfort Inn and Vitaminshoppe!

Hoosiers.. I've had no shipping problems with Vitacost...but I don't usually order anything breakable.. just turns out that way.

Bea, you reminded me about one other problem with the vitacost website. Sometimes it puts in extra amounts of a product. It hasn't happened for several months and I check my orders carefully so I caught it so check your orders carefully.

Another website that is great is called smartbomb.com Looks like their price on wobenzyme hasn't come down yet but their prices on a lot of things will beat vitacost. After the first order you will get a coupon for %10 off of everything everytime you shop there. They also have free shipping on orders over $100.

And then there is iherb.com, another really good website with good prices.

thats the price for both vitaminshoppe and vitacost.

Vitacost has alot of stuff cheaper than alot of other places... even things like brown rice noodles and supplemental cat treats and seventh generation cleaners! and a flat shipping rate of $4.99.

the vitamin shoppe will usually ship free on orders over $99. Sometimes the email coupon codes if you are signed up to recieve them.

I have used both and havent had a problem with either. They are right about your order could get held up if something ships out later. I just plan ahead and make sure I order far enough in advance in case it ships out later due to stock issues.

In Jan or Feb of this year I orderd liquid magnesium citrate in two glass bottles along with some other things from Vitacost. The bottles froze and one exploded and made a huge mess in the box, the other the cap split into two, but managed not to leak. I called them up and explained what happened.. They first offered to send another one and I explained that I would like that if not for the problem that it was so cold here that it was just going to happen again, I asked for a refund on the one bottle and had no problems getting that from them.

Another interesting herb/vitamin store story is that iherb.com one time shipped the same order twice by accident. I got two boxes of the same items come the same day and only got charged for one. Too bad most of the order wasn't something that I really cared to have received twice!

I've been using Vitacost for years too. A few months ago I received a box and just looking at the box made me cringe as it was pretty beaten up.

I opened it and several bottles had broken. I took pics and was ready to "make my case." I called them and they immediately replaced whatever I told them had broken.

I was pleasantly surprised.

Vitacost's customer service has been good & not so good. We've had a few problems recently.

retailmenot usually has current coupon codes for Vitacost.

PD93MWB6 is a current code for 5% off your order.
