I noticed a long time ago that the sides of my head were slightly swollen. The rest of my scalp I just left alone because it felt funny. Finally I started exploring and it felt like there were bugs on my head that disappeared when I touched them. Ultimately it became clear that the spirochetes somehow lump together and quickly disperse when touched.
Wish I knew of something to soak my head in that would screw them up.

They migrate to the head and scalp from the small intestine. Have you taken any antiparasitics?
Parasites and worms are a MAJOR part of Lyme disease

Try rubbing your scalp with some essential oils. Do a search on old posts for 'essential oils'. There was a member Farah who had experience with dermal absorption and massive herxing.

I took tinidazole for intestinal parasites blastocystis hominis a couple of years ago. I wonder if they escaped from my intestines at that time. Do you know whether there is any other way to get rid of them aside from salt/C?
I do rub my scalp with essential oils and the creatures remain. They migrate about.

i use to feel the parasites moving all through my colon, stomach, ribs...
I tried everything to get rid of that horrible feeling.
Then, I started eating himilayan salt about 6 months ago and I noticed about a week ago that the crawling/slithering sensation was gone...
It surprised me as I didn't start the salt to kill them, but I'm sure it at least aided their destruction.
Now I will not stop eating the salt as I expect it is also killing the lyme, etc... Dean martin wrote a book called something like the salt cure and it's supposed to tell you how to do the salt/vit c protocol... He use to have lyme...

Saltworks does not appear to have salt tablets. Does anyone know where I can get salt tablets or am I stuck with straight salt? I have a lot of Redmond salt if I need to use that.

The salt tablets are hard to find and a lot of people are using sea salt. I use Real Salt and buy it at www.vitacost.com
The sea salt has the added benefit of lots of needed minerals. Also we need salt for our adrenals.
I have been doing salt/c for almost 3yrs and have had great success killing these parasites and worms. The salt seems to be effective against the co-infections and bb as well
It is a natural broad spectrum antibiotic. Make sure you drink lots of water if doing this protocol. The salt/c is also is affective against the parasites that have migrated to the scalp,

Dear Gael,
If you had Bart. do you believe the salt/C has helped that as well? I am wondering if the salt and C could help this mystery bug thing.
Do you recall when you started the S/C how much you used?

Hi Roz,
I was dx with bart, babs Lyme and erlichiosis. I have been on the salt/c for 3yrs and I am 80-90% better.
I have used himalayan and celtic sea salt in the past. The Himalayan is probably fine to use. I started with 1/4 tsp each of salt and 1/4 tsp of vit c a day.
I ramped up slowly and increased the dose 1/4 tsp each time according to how I was feeling and herxing. I am now up to 20gms day.
I don't see why it wouldn't go after this so-called mystery bug(only a mystery because it hasn't been identified in the past)
Salt is a bacteriocide/antiparasitic and doesn't seem to discriminate,

To glm1111, is this what you're saying: that when I took the anti-parasitics aimed at intestinal parasites, then those intestinal parasites moved from my small intestine to my scalp?

Sheryl777,
This is what I think is happening from my extensive research and my personal experience. I have had severe neurolyme for yrs.
I think the parasites/worms are whats causing this. It wasn't until I took some very strong herbs and then the salt/c that I felt the movement.
I felt the scalp bumps and the subsequent experience of the parasites pushing thru the scalp. I also started to feel them crawling and moving around my intestines.
From what I have read they like the head and migrate there from the small intestines.
So to answer your question I think they are already in the head, and taking any herbs and or salt/c they are being pushed to the surface.
I have had Lyme & co for over 25 yrs and never felt any movement anywhere until I started the herbs and salt/c. I hope this answers your question,
Gael

Yesterday and part of the day before I took 1/2 tsp each of salt and C 4times a day. Today I have diarrhea and the bumps on my head aren't moving, are smaller and harder. Hopefully dead. The ever-present pain in my intestines has lessened.
There is a lot of movement in my lower intestines. Is the diarrhea from the salt and C or from dead bugs?

Sheryl,
Is that the dose you are starting with? Am I understanding that you sre starting with 2 tsp a day total? That's a very high dose to start with.
That's equal to 10gms a day. The diarrhea is usually a sign of dieoff. Can be from the vit c if you are at bowel tolerance.
Might be helpful to join lymestrategies and talk to the people that have Lyme and are doing the salt/c.
According to lymestrategies you should ramp up slowly. This is a very powerful protocol.
The movement in the lower intestines is probably from the worms starting to go into osmotic shock and moving down. Check the toilet.
If you start to herx too badly pull back on the dose. Make sure you DRINK LOTS OF WATER throughout the day, If you need more info, let me know.
