My insurance pays for cyano B12, but not for hydroxy or methyl. Is the cyano form good too?

I get good (if not great) results from the cyano.

Cyanocobalamin is known to cause cyanide poisoning. Methylcobalamin is known to methylate mercury through the blood brain barrier.

Hydroxocobalamin, to my understanding is considered the better of the three at elevating B12 levels.

B12 will react with toxins, as it hits toxins it vanishes. Many chronically ill are deficient in glutathione which has the job of protecting B12.

So if you were going to inject, hydroxo for example, if you used 1 part hydroxo and a 1/4 part glutathione in the same syringe, the weights would be equal, the B12 would be protected and utilized better.

Back to the cyanide and mercury. A lot of folks have chemical sensitivities because they can't remove the chemical from their body or break it down.

Same goes for metals. They linger and become part of the body.

So while adding a little cyanide may be ok for some, those with poor elimination systems may develop symptoms of poisoning.

Mercury crossing the blood brain barrier has been reported to have caused suicides. Probably because mercury and the brain don't mix well and can cause a severe depression like response.

Hydroxo for injection runs $48 a month a Walgreens. Glutathione can be compounded for very little money. Syringes are cheap. So if you have a doctor willing to Rx those things, it's, in my opinion, the better way to go.

I take methylcobalamin and that worked better for me than the cyanocobolamin. I take 2 shots a week since last summer.

It gives me a lift.

Methylcobalamin is the best but mostinsurance co's won't pay for it and it's expensive. I've been using cyanocobolamin for years with no problems and good results.

I have used both and personally did a little better with the cyano. The methyl is higher......

but because you take so much less of it ends up not costing that much more.......

at least it was that way for me. I took 1cc every other day of the cyano.
