My LLMD gave me a prescription for Metanx for neuropathy which is so bad. Has anyone tried it and how did you do? Did it help?

Thanks!

I take Metanx but I'm not sure why. [Smile] I don't notice any side effects though, but I do take mine before bed because it does warn it can cause drowziness. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Metanx is Rx vitamin B-12.

I take it too.

In addition to my bi-weekly shots, I also take Metanx for my B12 deficiency. I take it at night and I haven't noticed any negative side effects.

I also take it for neuropathy. Seems to be helping. Prior to starting Metanx I was on daily B12 shots. Metanx actually seems to work better than the shots!

Thanks for your replies. I am also taking B-12 shots and wonder if taking the metanx is overdoing it. If it helps I don't care so I will try it.

It is better than another drug.
