My skin burns over most of body, especially my back when sitting or laying down! Relaxing is so hard.

I'm on lyrica 100mg twice a day.

Going to see llmd tommorrow, and have had to stop levaquin and rifampin for blo.

Any suggestions for PN relief would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Blair,
I have skin burning on my arms and legs. I can't imagine having it all over my body like you.

Heat brings on burning for me. The only relief I get is from rubbing ice packs on my arms and legs.

I know this is not much help, but it seems to numb the pain.

I hope your LLMD can offer something more to help.
Keep us posted.

I am on Low dose naltraxone up to 2.0 ml in a liquid. It is the ONLY thing that has taken 60-70-% of my body burning pain away. You cannot be on opiods with it. Google Lowdosenaltrexone.org and learn about this amazing old drug and it is curing chron's, MS and other autoimmune diseases. It also helps with inflammation. It needs to be compounded by one of the pharmacies on the sight. No where else. I hope this helps.

I couldn't take lyrica, it caused a weird stutter that made me unable to talk and it gave me this euphoria followed by sudden depression.

I was also constantly dizzy.

I have neuropathy in my hands and feet.

I find that it flares in heat or when I have a fever (which is a lot).

Now mostly I am numb where I used to have pain.

Maybe a nice bath--nothing hot!

I didn't notice much that helped my pain, but I hope something helps you!

I am sorry to hear you have it over such a large area.

try baclofen it is a nervous system muscle relaxer. Used alot in those w/MS for spascity.

Neurotin - generic Gabapectin is used for neurophy.

I went to the founder of the LDN, Dr. Bahari in NYC, for two years prior to finding out Lyme was the cause of my MS.

It did not stop progression (more brain lesions)and more pain. Dr. Bahari remarked "something else going on" and was thrilled when I found a llmd & lyme.

I cannot take LDN while on abxs, feel like I'm gonna die 1 hr after...dizzy, hard to breath, gonna pass out.

Never happened for two years prior to abxs.

LDN is great but not the miracle for everyone.
Give it a try, it is inexpensive.
