I have long considered trying these four, supposedly wonderful herbs; the price being the only deterrent.
I think I'm going to give up the abx, as I have tried a varied regimen over two years. I fear that staying on them longer will damage my body's tissues and organs more than help me.
Anyone who has witnessed substantial improvement on these any or all of these tinctures from Nutramedix or a different company, please post your input.
If you've had serious eye involvement and noticed great improvement in eye symptoms on any of these, I implore you to post. The eyes have been my Achilles's tendon these past two years.
If you know of a cheaper or more potent/effective brand than Nutramedix, please post it.
I recall about a year ago there was a big controversy on here about whether or not Samento was actually beneficial in treating Lyme or if regular Cat's Claw was best. If you can recommend one over the other, please do.
I tried Cat's Claw for two months ago a year ago with no improvements. It was Source Naturals - which I've never sure if that brand is legit or crap. I know Burrascano suggests NatureMade and two that you have to phone order, but I don't believe those companies carry the tinctures I listed in the title.
thanks

I've been on the full cowden for at least 3 mos., and I'm getting worse. It has done nothing for me.

I was on the full cowden protocol. My lyme doc added back abx about 3 months into it.
I would like to go back on the full cowden protocol and abx but don't have the funds to do so.
I feel it was helping, but not alone. I needed the abx also.

PS I had difficulty with the cumanda. Had to cut it back to one drop and then build.
I think I only got to 3 drops on it.

does anyone know any other brands of these herbal tinctures? i have only found nutramedix online.
and has anyone benefited from taking these?
they are expensive, though i am considering ending my 2 years of antibiotics and giving the herbal remedies a shot. i've hit a brickwall on the abx. my eyes still feel horrible, my sinuses are congested and runny, my fatigue never improved, my insomnia is worse than before, my memory and cognitive abilities have not improved, nor have the persistent word paraphasias or dyslexia.
have these symptoms improved for anyone on these tonics?

The Nutramedix products are supposed to have frequencies as well as straight herbs, so you would not be following the proper Cowden protocol if you used alternatives.

No, a waste of time and $$$. Herxed a lot, too. Burbur did help a little with the herxing.

I am off ABX after three years and only modest improvement . I am now using artemesia annua extract tincture ( Herb Pharm) , cats claw (Raintree is best and I think as good as samento ) and nutramedix banderol , along with grapefruit seed extract drops and andrographis (whole herb not concentrate ) . These are powerful in my experience . ( I am less impressed by nutramedix , but do like banderol .)
I think these have real benefit , which I will use along with rife once I have a machine. I am sick of ABX and did not feel I would get much better with an endless regimen of ABX .
Most of the herbs I mentioned can be purchased reasonably and a little searching will help you . If you start with andrographis , GSE , and artimisia tincture you will see how powerful the botanicals are . The herxing with each is challenging .
These seem to work as well as ABX for me. I will eventually add cryptolepsis or teasel drops.
