It is this constant feeling (pressure, presence, something) on the left side of my chest, and it makes my breathing a conscious effort. When I'm really tired, skip sleep, or "herxing" or whatever, it gets so out of control every breath is a huge lungful that doesn't satisfy.
This symptom has gone down so much with Biaxin treatment I can't believe it, it's really a nice relief.

That yawn problem you described was one of my forms of air hunger. It went away with treatment.

Yes, that's what I experience as well.
My babesia tests come back negative too, and I'm not being treated for it, so the symptoms continue, although it's not as bad as it had been.
It seems like the only time I get releif is at night when I sleep, and sometimes I don't even get that--I wake up feeling like I can't breathe.
