My dr has me detoxing with vitamins and energy treatments (b complex, b-12, oils, etc). Within the last two weeks the skin burning pain came back.
So can detoxing alone cause my skin pain to flare up bad? Im also doing large amounts of lemon and lime water, baths, etc.

Detoxing can make you feel bad. Google "healing reactions" and you will learn a lot regarding this phenomenon.

When the liver is overwhelmed, it moves toxins to the skin. So, yes, too much pushing of the liver will result in skin stuff.
You might cut back some if this pushes the liver too much.
Are you taking enough magnesium and fish oil? -

i cant tolerate magnesium at all. I need to start up the fish oil. Why does it force it to the skin though??

Because the skin is another organ of detoxification.
I took my bird to the vet because he all of a sudden plucked his feathers. He is obviously very itchy, you can tell by looking at him. His liver tested as stressed and he's on a combo that includes milk thistle. He's also on chelators for the toxins that stressed his liver to begin with.
Just an example that shows the liver/skin connection.
