Hi, i have not posted here in a really long time, been reading though. I was wondering if any of you have experienced this or not, it is a completly new thing for me. The last few days i've been having itchy, prickly, tingling sensations on random areas all over my body, almost feels as if bugs are crawling on me, but there's nothing there, it's been so bad that it keeps me up at night, driving me crazy, i was wondering if it's a lyme thing or if it could be yeast? Thanks for any help, Deanne

I have this too. Unlike the rest of my symptoms, this one is not improving for me. I heard people here say that it is a form of neuropathy. I'm curious to see what responses you get.

I have it since some weeks. Like tiny needles in areas like neck, head. Some people say we have radioactive fallout - which is covered up. Not my opinion, just wanted to let you know.

Yes, I have been having this prickly sensation a lot lately. I didn't have it before. I get it badly when I am having my IV. I thought maybe my blood vessels we're busting but then I also started getting it other times. I would like to know if anyone knows what causes this.

It was my main Lyme symptom, and improved a little on years of antibiotics, but not all that much.
I don't know why, but identifying food allergies/intolerances did more than anything for me.
For me, it is worse in the sun or after I have been in the sun, which is part of my lupus.
All in all, I have concluded, since there are multiple contributing factors for me, that these sensations are the result of inflammation of my perhipheral nerves or something, which can be caused by any of the above things.

Thank you all for your responses, i too think that it is nerve inflamation that is causing it especially since it is scattered all over here and there.
