Been well-evaluated to r/o cardiac probs, thyroid issues, etc...

BUT am wondering how many of you have this as one of your symptoms and if it got better with any particular treatment.

Thanks!

For me this symptom was from Babesiosis. Once I had shaking chills, chattering teeth, and a 105 fever.

I have gotten this most recently when I started two different antiviral medications...I'm assuming it has to do with different viruses in me, as the medications were targeting two different viruses.

Best, Timaca

TImaca, I'm sure the die-off from viruses is similar in terms of triggering an autonomic response as abx do. Best back!

For me it was chills with mild shivering, but never with a fever. Felt very feverish, but temp always below normal. I still get chills, but a lot less than before.

I had this and it once became exacerbated by an IM magnesium shot. I shivered uncontrollably, and my muscles jerked. I had to put on long underwear and about four layers of clothing, and get under a few blankets and was still cold. I have no idea what was happening. In a moment of brilliance, I tried another mag shot a week later -- same thing.

That was a few years ago, when I was at my worst. I wonder what a mag shot would do now?
