I've been having as awful week and a half!!!

I'm on Doxy (400mg) a day and ceftrin (1500mg) a day.

I'm having stiffness in the neck, then everything else on the left side is acting up, big time!!! and a lot of joint pain!!!!

I'm living off Ibuprofen and Tears!!!!

Anyone else feel like this????

I called my LLMD and I get to see him Tomorrow!!!!

I was on Flagyl before and was doing so well!!!

Sorry to hear you are having a rough time.

Ibuprofen does nothing for my lyme pain and stiffness.

Perhaps until you see your LLMD tomorrow some gentle stretching, warm shower or bath, gentle massage (if you have someone who can do that for you) or a heating pad would help a little.

Hope it's just a herx and will subside.

Hi - sorry to read you're not feeling well - if you were doing well on flagyl, what's going on with that med? Are you still taking it?

Btw, I don't know if this is going to matter to you, but my oral antibiotic is clindamycin. It stops muscle pain and joint swelling. I did 150mg every six hours and my symptoms went down within a week. I actually became physically comfortable. Now I do 150mg 2x/day, with same results.

I was told I could only take it for 3 months at a time.....

I plan on talking to my Dr about it tomorrow!

I hope there is another mix that will work better...

Ask him about backing off the meds when herxing so hard. Sure helped me survive 4 yrs of treatment!

Hope you have a good appointment with some answers tomorrow!
