I have non-stop gurgling and bubbling stomach/intestines ALL DAY, every single day!
I don't have a lot of stomach pain, just a lot of noise (sorry to get descriptive)and my bowels are not normal, not fully diarrhea, but almost, every time.
I have wondered if it could be c.diff or yeast or maybe just ibs? This started months ago and I am just realizing this is way too long for this to be going on.
But all these oral abx so many YEARS..I don't know what to think.
I am on billions and billions cfu probiotics, including VSL#3 and Natures Way and saccharomyces boulardii. I should be constipated, but nope, nowhere near it.

Before I knew I had TBD's I was on a supplement protocol for CFS. I would have IBS weeks at a time. The M.D. had me take a teaspoon of ground nutmeg when needed, no more than 6 teaspoons a day. At the worse, I only need 4 tsps on one particular day.
It worked for me, at least as a temporary fix until the IBS just disappeared. Of course, now being treated for TBD's I wouldn't take ground nutmeg or anything else without clearing it with my LLMD first.
I did not find the taste offensive but the M.D. said I could put a drop of honey on the nutmeg. Of course I am off anything sweet so I wouldn't use honey now.
When in doubt ask your LLMD and let him know your symptoms.

A lot of my GI symptoms were from parasites. I tested negative for them, but tests are not good. I visibly saw them, so I know they were there.
Also, there can be overgrowth of other bad bacteria. The Humaworm also takes care of those bacteria. I took it for klebsiella and citrobacter overgrowths, didn't even know the worms were there until they came out.

I have some Diflucan, have not tried it though. My symptoms are flaring badly and I have brain fog WAY more than usual and lots of fatigue, drop dead fatigue. How bad is the Diflucan herx?
Also, almost tried Humaworm. Six, did you notice a horrible die off from a parasite cleanse?
My diet is mostly non-processed foods. Berries, yogurt, banana's, chicken, etc. I do drink a glass of milk everyday. Other than that I can't tolerate things I could tolerate not so long ago like bread, pasta, pizza, etc. I was tested for celiac about a year ago it was negative.
Are C.diff symptoms different than this? I wouldn't really know what to look for with that.
I have lost 25 lbs this past year without trying too. I have an appt next week with my LLmd, but he is strictly pharmacuetical where as I am more open to natural stuff - parasite cleanes, etc.
I do take Olive leaf extract regularly because it is suppose to do so much good.
Just so weird how this started a few months ago after 3 years of tx. Distressing for sure.

YOu truly might be on too many probiotics. Calm the doses down some and take an antibiotic break if you can. Do not take Florastor and Diflucan or Nystatin together or you will just kill off the Florastor.

Thanks WC..My son said the same thing yesterday.
I just never dreamed you can do too many probiotics...but I am going to cut back for awhile and see if things calm down.

lymebytes, Could you be lactose intolerant? Best way to test is the lactose challenge test: stop all milk products for a few days and see if you feel better; then drink a whole glass of milk and see how you feel.
Milk is hidden in many foods, so you have to read labels for Lactose, whey, casein, etc. No cheeses, ice cream etc. you can check your library for helpful books.
Hope you feel better.

Yep, too many probiotics is a big possibility. .. OR lactose intolerance. I would drop the glass of milk ASAP.. all it does is breed more yeast.
