Thats Great.

WE need all the PR we can get now as it appears the new IDSA President has dug in heel first.

As attested to his letter of opposition to the NH legislation of treating lyme disease over 4 weeks.

In connection I would like everyone to this Discover Mag. article.

The Intellectual Property Fight That Could Kill Millions

http://discovermagazine.com/2009/dec/28-intellectual-property-fight-that-could-kill-millions/article_view?b_start:int=2&-C=

I believe it applies in cases of illness' like Lyme also and should be corrected by whatever

means possible.

Interesting info Ms Pine....

I personally feel like we are not going to make progress towords disease erradication and better patient care until we decide that it is inhumane to make major money off of sick people and illness.

For all these years, people have claimed that a compettitive business environment encourages research. I think that if fine for selling computers and cars, but from what I can see, it has been terrible for health care...

Science began to progress at a much faster rates onece scientist began to work with one another, or at least read one anothers research and methods. That is how things move forward, and is why at the trun of the 20th centuary we made tremedous strides.

But as soon as all this patent Bull**** started, suddenly people don't work with one another anymore, and health innovations slowed to a crawl.

I feel the same. What they know they won't share,

and some things they dig up, should never be shared

and are. Go figure.

I just got the magazine...it is in there, but the write up is not huge...it's in the section where they discuss movies. Any little bit helps! And just to get in People Magazine is wonderful. It may help a lot of people who are suffering.

It is, "THE LOVE OF money is the root of all evil". (My mother always corrected me on this one, now look what I'm doing! LOL!)
