- Holistic sounds all well and good but the spirochete is a mighty force. Be sure to get a good LLMD. Many also incorporate supportive supplements.
Usually, a combination of pharmaceutical and complementary methods is required.
Whomever you work with, be sure they are ILADS-educated in that they know all the science behind lyme and coinfections. Borrelia is one of the most complex of spirochetal bacteria and one of the most toxic.
I see that you have posted in "seeking doctor" to find someone before a scheduled LLMD appointment that is set for the middle of MAY.
i also see that you had a bulls eye rash early January.
Sorry. So sorry.

There is no simple approach; no easy answer. While not all LLMDs or LL NDs practice the exact same way and no two patients are alike it is best to first read over this site. More later.
Gary's suggestion is a good one. Hansa has helped many.
You also asked about Colloidal Silver and that has been helpful for some but it should be used under careful guidance. Also, the very best source really matters. Home-made silver solutions can turn skin permanently blue-grey if not done correctly.
Source Naturals Colloidal Silver is a reputable one. NanoSilver may also be considered.
More tomorrow. Good luck for now. This WILL work out. Really.

for anyone needing more background before replying, here is more info. over at his seeking doctor post:
You should not even consider this without Milk Thistle and other supportive supplements like magnesium. Not at the same time, but it'd be good to be on Milk Thistle BEFORE you start garlic.
Again, this would be just to get you through the interim period and it would still be best to have a LLMD to ask about this FIRST.
For sure, read all you can from the links above and order the Singleton book as that answers so many questions. Your support group may have the book to borrow.
A GLUTEN-FREE DIET is also suggested for lyme patients and that, alone, can help some with symptoms.
AND you need PROBIOTICS - different time from abx or garlic. Singleton's book explains more. -

you should also be assessed for other tick-borne infections.

All this is to compare and contrast - and to be sure all the bases are covered. Rx protocols are included for background but most also incorporate supplements.

* This explains WHY you need an ILADS LLMD or ILADS LL ND (naturopathic doctor) to guide your treatment protocol.
CONTROVERSY CONTINUES TO FUEL THE "LYME WAR" - 2007

"...If all cases were detected and treated in the early stages of Lyme disease, the debate over the diagnosis and treatment of late-stage disease would not be an issue, and devastating rheumatologic, neurologic, and cardiac complications could be avoided..."

- This blog should also to be considered, as you compare and contrast approaches. Supplements are not addressed here but you might read some of the blog entries by a doctor who takes lyme seriously and gets results by doing so. His methods differ from a "complementary" approach nevertheless, it's important to study what he has to say.
Main point: tick-borne infections require serious and complete attention. This is more of a journal of individual accounts rather than a recipe but there are still many solid details here: ------------
