I've been off ABX for 8 months. Not because I'm better, but because my LLMD and I are trying a couple of different things. Everything has stayed pretty much the same during this time. No better, but no worse. Oh well...

The last thing to try before going back on ABX is a yeast/candida cleanse. Tonight he gave me this protocol:

RX
Nystatin 500,000m x 2 a day 30 days
Nizaral 200mg for x 1 a day 10 days

Homeopathic
Pleo Pef (pills)
Pleo Form (drops)
Pleo San (drops)

Anyone ever hear/try these Pleo things? The first 2 are Candida killers. The second is a herx limiter.

Any feedback would be great.

Thanks.

My wife cleared her yeast issues up with Yeast Ease. She's tried EVERYTHING else and nothing worked.

hey, I forget if we've talked about this- I see a huge improvement in candida when I take low dose naltrexone. I've been on and off of it a few times now and it's really obvious that it's helping.

I think 2 Nystatin per day is pretty low. Nystatin is very safe. I had bad trush while on flagyl.

I am currently on Tindamax and cipro, but I still take 6-8 tablets (500,000 IU each) of nystatin every day with no side effects.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I'm wondering specifically about the homeopathic items he gave me

http://www.sondriohealth.com/html/pleo_pef.html
http://www.sondriohealth.com/html/pleo_san_cand.html
http://www.sondriohealth.com/html/pleo_form.html

It's weird because on the company's website they have a ton of items, but not the ones he gave me http://www.sanum.com

Thanks.

homeopathy are extremely powerful medications. instead of attacking organisms directly, they actually educate your immune system so the immune is involved in erradicating the organisms.

Homeopathy runs right into big pharma's financial interests. So big pharma and its partner the AMA have tried to destroy the credibility of this ART. I'd say science, but no one understands exactly how it works. So much of the homeopathic remedys are developed through careful observation.

Sanum by the way are some of the best homeopathic remedies you can buy. Who ever prescribed them to you is pretty skilled in both conventional and alternative medicine.
