Hi all. I have a question. I have had blurry, staticky, shadowy vision for several years. I just had an eye exam and was told I needed bifocals because the laser eye surgery I had about 5 years ago was deteriorating and I have aging changes in my eyes.

So, I get my bifocals and I'm having a hard time adjusting. Yesterday I took them off while having lunch with my husband and I noticed a shadowy line across my vision field.

I kept the glasses off all day and this morning and I still see this shadow line if I look at something for an extended period. It also feels as though there is some pressure in my eyes and when I look in the mirror I see that the whites of my eyes look reddish.

Do any of you have any advice or experience something similar? Thank you!

- Lymelady Julie

I'm having all kinds of eye issues too, and I can't get any answers either.

I have a lazy eye that has never had good vision, but I can tell I'm losing vision in that eye. I used to be able to read at least a little bit with that eye, but now I can't at all.

Colors often look different between my two eyes--it's almost like the difference between looking out a tinted car windshield and looking at something with no window.

I'm taking mangosteen, but it really doesn't seem to do any good at all.

Eye doc says nothing is wrong and tells me to talkk to my LLMD, LLMD tells me to talk to my eye doctor.

I just don't know what to think anymore.

I have stopped wearing my glasses except for reading and my eyes have gone back to their "normal" static, shadow vision.

I think there was pressure in my eyes from trying to focus with the bifocals. I think it screwed up the normal focus and I was actually able to see my eyelashes - which was the shadow line across my vision field.

Strange, but I think I figured it out. - Lymelady
