Does herxing happen only during the time the bacteria is in a growth cycle, making one get herx symptoms from time to time or is it constant where the person feels sick consistantly?
I posted below about this episode I had where it felt like something was pumping through my veins (along with panic and lots of nerve excitement, sweating, chills, shaking) and then after felt flu like for a day. That was a few days ago and since havent had flu like symptoms.
Im thinking this was a growth cycle and the die off...
Someone please explain how herxing works...

Depends on how long you have had it and how well your body rids itself of the toxins. In other words all of the above usually after treatment a while herxs will diminish some what ie not last as long anywhere from 3 to 5 or 6 days. And depends if you have more than one strain and what type coinfections also.
