hi everyone

i'm on the cowden condensed protocol due to serious problem with yeast that has halted any antibiotic treatment until the yeast gets under control. i started on day 10 of the protocol.

on day 4 I had two of my wisdom teeth extracted (one was broken and in need of a root canal and both had amalgams so i wanted them out as i have elevated mercury).

the extraction site feels fine. the first few days i felt great. hardly needed to even take tylenol.

but two days ago, three days out from the surgery, i developed terrible pain. it is a pain that is radiating throughout my glands.

this makes me wonder if it's a bart herx as my glands do cause me pain at times.

also my front teeth hurt even though they are no where near the extraction site. i have a massive headache as well.

this makes me wonder if i'm having a babesia herx.

it's so hard to know what is what here.

i went to the dentist yesterday. there is no sign of infection and i do not have a dry socket. he suspects that my teeth are shifting and in a few days the pain will go away.

last night it was so bad i took the RX pain med he prescribed and it did not even touch the pain.

any thoughts on this. i know it's pretty specific so not many people may have gone through this ever.

thanks for any thoughts on it.

Check out my posts on Wisdom Teeth. Here is one with Dr. C.J. Hussar's article -- he is the expert on the subject. If they are not cleaned out as well as the terrain surrounding it, it is not good. Do search the internet re C.J. Hussar, DDS, DO and his writings. He is t h e expert.

Good luck.

Take care.

I got very sick after my wisdom teeth were cut out. Turns out they were impacted and my general dentist removed them. Probably should have seen an oral surgeon (but I didn't know better).

Anyways, I was not on antibiotics for Lyme yet when I had them removed so maybe that is part of why I got so ill afterwards. My dentist didn't prescribe antibiotics after the procedure either.

I was very dizzy, nauseated, fluey feeling with fevers and chills for over a week after the procedure. It took awhile for the pain to go away too.

Thankfully your extraction sites look and feel OK. Maybe the procedure and starting the new protocol together were too much of a stress on your body.

So maybe this is a herx. The swollen glands and the new pain are both signs that your body is fighting something.

Hugs, hope you feel better soon [Smile]
