I have been prescribed three Malarone pills twice a day and one Biaxin twice a day for Babesia Duncani. As anyone taken such an amount of Malarone? I weigh 96 pounds and so far, I have been taking two pills a day. 6 pills a day seems excessive to me. Any suggestion? Thank you,

At my lowest weight I was at 94lbs.
I took two malarone twice daily.
Biaxin 500mg twice daily.
Just watch your tongue/mouth.
If you get little sore spots then call your LLMD.
Malarone did this to me at 3 pills twice daily.
Too much for my system.

That seems high for your weight but I am not a doctor.
My script says up to 2 pils 2X a day and I weigh much more than you.

I have Babesia Microti. Don't know if that makes a difference. I was prescribed 2 pills twice a day. I started at 1 twice a day. I weigh about 100.

Big help, guys. Thank you. I am going to do three a day and work my way up to four. But also, as of last night, I have developed heart palpitations. I was bragging for a while that, on Biaxin, they were better. Well, not anymore. Has Malarone given anyone an irregular heartbeat?

Yes, that is a side effect of Malarone! And I was only on 1 pill per day. Weighing in at 103.
