I was just wondering if there are many people here that have just been clinicly dx. I was just dx last month and was wondering what the general course of treatment was.
I am on a month of Amoxy (I was nusring my son so we went with a baby-safe antibiotic) Is this going to be enough and how will I know?
Also my dr didnt do blood tests since I had the general syptoms and the rash. Should I have blood work done?

Im not nursing any more. As soon as I was dx I stopped my son is almost two son so it was time anyways. Should I be asking about treating my son since he was exposed? (I had symptoms for 2 days then the rash on the third day and was treated the fourth day)

I wish I knew what to tell you on the issue of whether or not your baby is at risk. I would think there IS some risk there.

Can you get him tested? You may want to wait another few weeks to make sure the antibodies will show up on testing.

Lyme really IS a clinical diagnosis. My testing came back negative, but I had bands for Lyme. So I was successfully treated anyway.

One month of amoxy may not be enough... I would want 2 months worth and then be sure all symptoms are gone at that time.

Were you recently bitten then??
