I had one of those coveted columbia lyme appointments...passed it over because of the astronomical cost.
have any of you gone through evals with the program? if so, was it worth the $? and were you reimbursed by your insurance provider after filing?

I haven't, but I know someone who has. No, it wasn't worth it for her. It's a research program only---and evaluation, too. But no treatment or treatment suggestions are made.
And, as you said, the cost is ridiculous, esp considering that it's mainly a research program?! Go figure!
And, too boot, Dr. F is way too conservative even in his evaluations. He said stuff in this person's evaluation that hurt her case (that the sxs she was experiencing weren't from Lyme, I think). So, I would say, save your $$ for a good LLMD who will treat you!
