Before antibiotics, my blood pressure was fine. 3 weeks into antibiotics (Doxycycline), my blood pressure is 150/100. [confused] Anyone have this happen?

High blood pressure can be caused by inflammation which can be caused by the antibiotics killing stuff off.

My BP sky-rocketed when I took the Lariam, Mepron, and Zithromax combo. Some numbers were 140/100 and 186/90. The BP came back down when I stopped the Lariam.

Currently, my BP is fine. It's not as low as I would like but it's within acceptable limits and sometimes I will have a great number like 110/60.

I never had (HIGH blood Pressure) or (HIGH Cholesterol) until I got sick. In my case I don't think it's the meds, I think it the Lyme.
