Does anyone have a supplement list for RA, or website that has this info?

My neuro issues seem to be getting a little more under control (pray that will stay!!), but joint issues are increasing really quickly and it's concerning. For years have had a positive RA factor and now all of a sudden my joints feel like those of an 80 yr old.

I have an LLMD and am treating with abx, also take fish oil, turmeric, ginger, borage oil, MSM, etc, but wanted more specific recommenations including recommended doses, if availble somewhere.

In terms of diet, I am already gluten free, dairy free, and nightshade free, but any other diet recommendations are appreciated as well.

Thanks so much,
VB

Curamin by Terry Naturally is excellent! You can stop taking turemic when you get the Curamin. It did/does wonders for me.

I later found it suggested here:

http://www.vrp.com/articlecategories.aspx

Vitamin Research Products Library

Very detailed articles with great 3rd party research sources. You can search by name of condition or by name of supplement.

http://www.itmonline.org

Searching ITM's Chinese Medicine site for ``rheumatoid arthritis'' ten articles pop up. Two of those:

www.itmonline.org/arts/arthritis.htm

* An Analysis of Chinese Herb Prescriptions for Rheumatoid Arthritis

www.itmonline.org/arts/autoimmune.html

* Autoimmune Diseases and the potential role of Chinese Herbal Medicine

PubMed Search:

Rheumatoid+arthritis, nutritional+supplement - 155 abstracts

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc?term=rheumatoid%20arthritis,%20herbs

Rheumatoid+arthritis, herbs - 148 entries

rheumatoid+arthritis, herbal - 282 entries

From that set, #4 looks interesting:

Indian Herbal Medicines: Possible Potent Therapeutic Agents for Rheumatoid Arthritis

To keep in mind:

BIOCHEMISTRY OF LYME DISEASE: BORRELIA BURGDORFERI SPIROCHETE / CYST

Excerpt:

. . . A popular treatment for arthritis includes the administration of chondroitin sulfate and N-acetylglucosamine.

If the arthritis is Lyme-induced, N-acetylglucosamine is contraindicated. 22 (See Chart 14.)
