Has anyone used foot detox pads, I get mine from www.healthmarvelsdetoxpatch.com there are a variety of herbal combinations for different health conditions. I use fx blue, in the search box type lyme. I have been using for sometime but just started using for my 14 year old son with lyme. His were so slimey & nasty, I cant help but wonder if that has he been why he is so miserable from toxin build up or actual lyme neuropathies. Well I will keep using them on hime & report how they will change after time used.

I have been wondering if those detox foot pads (any brand) are at all effective or are such products a gimmic? I was unsuccessful pulling up the site you mentioned for some reason. The only foot detox pads I've ever seen advertised are the ones at Bed Bath and Beyond.
Do you just stick them onto you feet at bedtime and in the morning you remove the pads (which are then discolored due to toxins)?? What substance is creating the detoxification? **but most importantly, is there improvent in symptoms?
I also wonder if the detox pads pull out any good vitamins/ minerals?
'Hope to receive feedback...

I've seen a document on TV about these.... they say the chemical used on the pads is what makes them turn black.... nothing to do with drawing 'things' out of us...
But, I've heard that Foot Baths can do some good.
Never have used either.

I used them every single day for more than a year in 2004. And yes, I felt they helped me.
They helped my herxes become livable and I could go to work even when herxing.
I used the ones made by AKG Naturals (www.podipatch.com) but they seem to have been sold out for quite some time now.
My LLMD told me to use them until they didn't turn black any more - and mine were BLACK and oozing for many many months.
It's been almost 6 years now (off abx and living a real life), but I still try and use them about 1 week a month - luckily I bought a stockpile from them when they were on sale quite a while ago.
Say what you will, I truly believe they helped me recover.
And yes, the foot bath mentioned above will do the same.

I also used them for about a year, and I think they were a hjelpful part of my initial treatment.
Initially, the pads, like julie described, were pitch black and oozing. Over a period of months, though, they really lightened and completely changed...which made me realized something was happening.
I would have kept using them, but they have an odor I finally just couldn't tolerate.
In the end, it seemed like that smell permeated my body, socks and the bed.
I finally had to stop.

I used them awhile back and initially they were very black and lightened up as I used them. I felt they helped me too. I bought the ones from health marvels.
