I love this one! My grandmother had such a hard time recieving the gifts we worked so hard to select for her. There was always somthing wrong with it. It crushed us and hurt our hearts. As I got older I came to see that she did this not only with material gifts but gifts of the spirit that we tried to shine her way.
this is what I learned:
Always accept a gift with an open heart and gratitude! In accepting a gift graceously and with gratitude it gives the sender the opportunity to shine their love and teaches them the rewards of giving... it matters not what the gift is.
and: to give your gift without attachment for any kind of reward, even that of a thankyou.
