I am not sure where I am right now in my whole process of lyme treatment/denial......so on and so forth.

I can tell you that as of now, we (my daughters and I) are not taking anything as treatments meds go.

Does anyone else believe that most everyone has some lyme and/or co-infections in their system?
I was just wondering what y'alls thought on that were.

Hi Amanda! I'm not sure what's up, but yes, I've been through denial of Lyme. I think we've all been there.

So how long have you been off meds? Your kids??

Hey TuTu!!

Well, you did not miss anything. I am just at a crazy state I guess.
We have been off meds since right before Thanksgiving I think.

The last med I took broke my face out all over. It was Zithromax. I am thinking of trying it again.

The girls, I am not sure what to do about them. Ali has not had any complaints about pain, except her stomach.
Of which, I guess her concerta does that. Can not seem to get her off that yet.

Taryn just had her second set of tubes and her adnoids cut out this last Monday. She is sick on top of that. I am not sure about her.

?????????? Just did not make my follow up appt with C because I did not have the $ and did not feel like I had done all that he asked.
I guess this spring, my mom and I will drive back up (and the gils too) and see what is going on.

I am however taking 3 new hormones. Ofcourse the hormones are out of whack! Per Dr. C.

Just a bit confused and frusterated!!!

TTYL,
Amanda

Hi Amanda,

Hang in there! I've had some pretty rotten luck with abx and couldn't tolerate them either.

How are you and the girls feeling? I have an 8 year old with lyme and she's pretty sick and has missed a lot of school. Her first lyme symptom from birth stomach problems.

You may want to call Dr. C's office and tell them about the meds. I'm sure they could try something else.

I've had lyme for at least 15 years and have to stay on treatment wether I like it or not. Evey time I try to quit abx, symptoms come back fairly quick.

I asked him in December if someone who didn't have lyme would have any of the bands showup on the WB. His response was if something wasn't in your system it shouldn't show up on this test.

I too have gone through denial thinking the same thing and knowing symptoms I have weren't normal.

Yes, Im on hormones to. He wants me to try heparin and I'm scared to death of that (don't know why) but I'm going to investigate a little further.

Take care!

Hi Amanda. I'm sorry you're struggling over there. Hope things settle down soon and you can get back on track. I know it must be very difficult for you with hubby gone. [How's he doing, by the way??]

Snowboarder, if you have pain and/or problems with brain fog, you will LOVE heparin!
