Don't worry too much about it. MANY of us Lyme patients travel all the time. In fact, many Lyme patients even have to travel to see an LLMD!!!
There's no problem with travelling, just let your doc know about your plans and know where to reach him in case of an emergency.
In terms of your treatment, continue with it and just try to keep a schedule.
And if you are traveling with syringes or large amounts of medicine - make sure you let the airlines know. In most cases they'll let you bring your carry on bag with these things on board IF you have the prescriptions to back it up.
There may be times when the flight attendants will take custody of your carry on bag during the flight, but you can retrieve it from them once you have arrived at your destination.
It's no big deal, just let the airline know these things when you check in.
Best of luck on your journey! Hope you enjoy the time with your mom!

I've been travleing the whole time I have had lyme. It's one thing that I could still do. Mostly I flew to CA or AZ in the winter to visit relatives, so it was not difficult and the SUN made me feel better.
I took two trips while on IV. Just used a "playmate" with my frozen drugs as carry on.
I found caring for my grandparents a bigger drain than the traveling, both emotional and phyically. Be careful to guard your health.

I travel all the time for work. There are little tricks.
I check bags more than I used to for convenience. But I always carry on all my meds and supplements for of getting lost and to maintain temperature.
Check in on-line beforehand if you can. Less lines make you a happier lowere stress person.
Bring enough food with you, so you don't get stuck buying airport food.
I bring a small pillow for back support on the plane.
As far as being away for a long period, see if your LLMD knows any doctors in the area. Bring copies of your medical records so you have them if you need to go to a doctor or hospital. Carry a list of your medication with you.
