Yes, I am PMSing. However, Im also fed up. My stomach is hurting like a son of a gun. Water alone is making it hurt so bad. How am I supposed to live like this for the rest of my life????
Im trying almost everything that people suggest to do. Im following my dr. Yet, its not better. I just want to scream my head off!!!!!!!!!
I can handle all my symptoms but most definately not this one. This one is driving me to the brink every single time it flares. I cant concentrate on anything else and i just want to curl up in a corner.

I'm here just because it's just too sad to have a pity party and have nobody else show up. I don't have stomach pains, nor am I PMSing.
But I live in Maryland and I have Interstitial Cystitis-and everytime we get another deluge I have to go pee.
Excuse me-here comes another downpour. Carol

I love a good pity party and a good cry. I do it all the time, the crying bit. I have 14 yrs. of lyme and coinfections, and still not better yet, but workin' on it.
I have a saying I'll share with you, "If you're going through hell--keep going" so I do.
I will probably cry this month too, although I'm 44-3/4 and only have 1/2 my reproductive system, the remaining ovary does its best to treat me monthly like a 14-yr old mega-hormonal teenybopper, right along with the roller-coaster mood swings and crying jags, and an occasional ZIT---my God 45 and Zits!!! Now there's something to really cry about!
Or maybe its the lyme. Don't know. If there aren't water works coming down from my face, there's probably some coming out from down below...after 2 kids utilized my bladder for a trampoline years ago while preggers.
'scuze me, gotta run....

You just really start to wonder how much a person can truly, truly take after a while.
i could probably handle the stomach pain better if I knew exactly WHY i was having it!!!
I still swear its from years on PPI's. My yeast test from my comprehensive digestive stool analysis was completely negative which shocked me and my dr.

oh boy---you guys are having this pity party without the no 1 surgical menopausal insanity woman of the month???
Hormones ladies. It is ALL about the hormones.
Nal---I now believe my burning stomach was COMPLETELY and totally due to hormonal imbalance.
I know, I know another suggestion, another tail spin. But let me just tell ya-- getting prosterone o the scene was more relief than I could have EVERY hoped for.
I would have NEVER thought of the connection between hormones and tummies if I hadnt gone off the deep end and become completely menopausal at age 34 and in 3 days flat.
But now I am a believer. The hormones were keeping my tummy in balance. When they went down, everything went with them including my poor burning tummy. Also---ALLLLLL my lyme symptoms became much much much worse than they've been in ages.
Hormones. hormones hormones.

Nal---yes, BC pills can help to level off imbalanced horomones in SOME women. Have you tried it before? is there one that is better for you? COz if you know of one that is best for you then you might want to give it a try. BUt be sure to talk it over with the doc and LLMD--coz ABX do interfere with BC pills. and visa versa.
Still, for women who are premenopausal BC pills can work wonders to help them through some rough hormonal years.

I may have to talk to my dr's about it. My LLMD is completely main stream medicine. He'll probably just say "sure, go along with it and see what happens".
Im bawling again today. I have hardly eaten anything because of my darn stomach. This is just all so ridiculous.
Have any of the ladies on here tried Ovum ring?

never tried it. My LLMD is also mainstream. That can be good. YOu dont want to waste money on things that dont help. You dont want a doc pushing supliments if they arent proven to be effective.
ANyhow---quick Q---have you tested for BARTONELLA?
If so what was the result. Very curious. Just found out mine was the highest titre. IT affects the tummy very badly for some people. FOr me, this is part of the picture. THe hormones are another part for sure.
So--what's your bart titre?

I am post-menopausal, but I remember the torture well. I do NOT miss it.
Maybe this is something you've checked out before so I'll apologize in advance--but what about your gallbladder being the source of your pain (other than those ovaries and other female things, of course!)
I read somewhere yesterday (don't ask me where because I'm not even sure what planet I'm on) that long-term IV antibiotic use can sludge up your gallbladder, and if that happens, you have to change antibiotics from whatever it was that did that--which I can't remember.
It's not the same as if you had a bad gallbladder from genetics, or too much fat in your diet, it's directly due to the IV antibiotics.
I think it was on "Nailing Jello to the Wall", one of the personal stories there.

Hi again!
Yes, I did have my gallbladder checked out and everyting was normal. I still think it could be a contributing factor though.
Celiac has crossed my mind although all the blood tests for that have been very negative. However, I don't eat wheat or gluten now and its hasn't made a difference.
Trails:
I am positive for Bart. i want to start treatment for that again here quickly.
I lost it again tonight. My two year old almost drove me to the edge. I just yelled and her and went out of her room bawling my head off!!!!!
its so darn hard to be so darn sick and a mom too. Not fair!!!!!!!!!
