Thanks so much for all the wonderful birthday wishes. I haven't been able (had time and/or internet access) to get on here since Monday so it was a nice surprise to see all the wonderful messages tonight!
I had a nice, low-key birthday - didn't leave the house except to go eat on the back porch. I got some wonderful presents from my family and a nice little celebration with them.
I knew I wouldn't be able to handle regular birthday cake (can't handle that much fat or sugar because of Gastroparesis) so we had angelfood cake with strawberries and non-dairy whipped topping and a little bit of light ice cream. It was yummy and my stomach handled it okay.
Thanks again for all the messages and I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July, too!
