Hello all,
I am glad to see there are people still here

that gave me so much support last time. But I

did give up on finding a LLMD then and just work

through as much as I could. It has been a long 2

1/2 yrs and I have found my way back here. I

started having some of the same old same old.

But this time it was worse. I have had 3 tick

bites in the last 2 years. Freaked me out. But I

pushed on I completed Fire Fighter 1 and 2 (not

to be able to use it now) I broke my leg in July

of last year it took for ever to heal. I also

got my tubes tied (had complcation from it going

in for my 2nd surgery to try to fix it) and

things are getting worse and worse. I am a mom

of 5 after my leg was broke they had to go live

with my mom. becouse I cant take care of them.

I work FT but so tired I cant do anything else.

I have a very supportive bow in mylife now so I

am back on to trying to find a LLMD.

I was told I have Fibro. and a few other thing.

2mo. ago but thats not the answers I was

looking for. Being told "There's nothing we can

do to help." [Frown] I know That There Is

something that can help I just need the right Dr.

Thanks to all of you that keep us going and know

what its like and help us find the resourse we

need to get better.

Smiles

Beca

Dear Beca,

Why don't you contact the National Capital Lyme and Tick-Borne Disease Association, aka NatCapLyme, for information about Virginia doctors. They might have the best information about doctors in Virginia.

(703) 821-8833 or visit www.natcaplyme.org to see if there is a chapter near you

Welcome Beca!

I had a fibromyalgia diagnosis for 21 years until I figured out on my own that the cause of all those symptoms was lyme.

It's such a shame that soooo many people will never have a chance to recover after a diagnosis of fibro, CFS, etc.

Sorry to hear that you've had such a hard time.

Glad you decided to come back to this wonderful site with more fantastic people than I can count.

I hope you find a good LLMD and get the help you need.

Thank you all for welcoming me back. I beleve what don't kill will make you

stronger. And at times I think if I dont do something this is going to

kill me. In so many ways I feel like it has. But I know that I can't give up

I want as much of the old me back as I can get. I have been doing alot of

reading on Lyme and making people around me aware of it and how bad it

can be. I ordered the DVD "Under Our Skin" I cant wait to get it. I will

get better its just going to take time and the the right Dr.

Thanks Everybody
