DISCLAIMER: I am not a medical practitioner. The following is simply what seems to be working for me so far.

Primary goals: 1.Maximize antibiotic absorption. 2.Minimize risk of developing
systemic yeast infections. 3. Boost the immune system.

Most important: 1. Absolutely NO sugar and NO high starch foods (ex. potatoes, rice.)
2. Absolutely avoid alcohol (even mouthwash), tobacco and recreational drugs.
3. Choose foods with a low glycemic index much like a Diabetic diet.
4. All Probiotics including yogurt and Acidophilus should be timed
at least 4 hours away from all antibiotics.
5. Time all calcium rich foods (ex. dairy products)
and all iron rich foods (ex. multi-vitamins, liver) at least 4 hours
away from antibiotics. Iron and calcium can bind
to certain antibiotics and render them ineffective.
6. Adequate sleep and exercise if at all possible.
7. Drink plenty of water.
8. Think carefully about taking Milk Thistle while on antibiotics.
Taking Milk Thistle can result in highly elevated concentrations of
certain antibiotics in the bloodstream resulting in increased side
effects.
