Insurance companies!!!!!!
Example. 1.Who had conflicts of interest with some members of the infectios disease society to lie about lyme,Insurance companies.
2.The water company were I live went bancrupt,it was bought by a new company ,loyds of london insured the company. They made everyone buy their meters I refused to buy a meter from them, they shut my water off.No were else in the united states do the property owners have to buy the meter.
3.I tried two times when i was hurt at work to get worker comp to pay,They refused to pay.worker comp is an insurance company.
4.When i had my Hickman cath.and was getting rocephin my lyme doctor wasan't in the insurance group so they wouldent pay him to see me,I had 3 months IV rocephin with no doctor.I got yeast as bad as an aids person and my gall blader fried.and could not stay on the ABX long enuf for a cure.
5. Who just ruined the national health care, insurance companies did not want a national option to compete with their monopoly, and pressured the legislators to ruine it.
6. Social Security disability is an insurance company. That is all i need to say about that screwed up deal.Their sins are evident.
Today I struggled to cut off the ends of some firewood that i got from the heph program. WHY? the wood is to long to go into my wood stove WHY! Americam Family insurance company, didnt like the big stove I had.It didn't have a UL plate on it.So i could only afford a new small stove that the firewood won't fit in. It was a coal stove made twice as thick as the mooron little ul plated stove i have now.
Knowing who your enemy is is very important.
A true revolution would first shut down insurance companies.

Maddog, I know you're struggling now and feeling mistreated. I wish you could find someone to adopt you. You might need to change your name?
You are a good guy. Things will get better for you. I just know it!!!
Take care buddy, Pam

Hey my friend...
You have a good point... but... taking on that project is too much for one person.
You are already trying to climb back up to some level of live-ability... so my guess is it would be easier to focus on the smaller picture for now.
I do know how frustrating it can be to deal with the red tape and the crazy regulations and rules, but hang in there. Once it is settled you will have an enormous weight lifted off your shoulders.
Heck, right now you wouldn't catch me in a canoe with you! The load you are having to bare is so great it would sink us both!
For now... take the same advise you've given me and that I've always remembered.

Do like I do and don't engage with insurance companies, no one is forcing you to buy insurance unless you want to drive a car. SS is government insurance that you are forced to pay for (which I am against) but we are forced to do it anyways... too much government is a bad thing.
You also have a few common false assumptions about private insurance companies stated above but don't worry about it. Things will work out I hope with all the healthcare stuff.

Boy, do I feel your pain. I'm fighting my insurance company because they say they won't pay my doctor's bills since they "don't cover alternative treatment" -- alternative treatment for WHAT? That's what I kept asking them. First you have to have a disease in order to call something "alternative treatment." I asked them why they are paying for the TREATMENT I'm receiving (the prescriptions) but not covering the office visits to the doctor who PRESCRIBES them? Crazy. And, no, you are forced to buy insurance unless you want to go bankrupt. The difference between what an uninsured person pays (health, car, whatever) vs. an insured person is CRAZY! If you get a serious illness (as if Lyme isn't serious enough) like cancer, you may as well sign over your bankbook and house to the doctors and hospitals you'll have to go to if you don't have insurance.
BTW, my husband is one of those "hated" personal injury attorneys who fights with insurance companies ALL THE TIME (for the past 25+ years).
