Been praying that verse for a long time, and know that God is faithful to his word. If only more would pray and and humble themselves, what a difference it would make. While I don't enjoy having Lyme I have enjoyed the way it has grown me closer to the Lord and my dependence on him. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, Blessed be the name of the Lord!

There are a lot of people who agree that these are the end times - For instance it says in the old test that in the end times people will fly to and fro around the world. They sure are doing that. It also says there will be a universal language. That is the computer. We can communicate anywhere in the world. Christ told his disciples, "when you see the abomination that creates desolation, you will know the time is near". That was the nuclear bomb.
When you say that our nation WAS great, we dropped the nuclear bomb on two cities incinerating hundreds of thousands of people. We marked the beginning of the end times. Our nation also enslaved people, sold them and bred them like cattle. We slaughtered the native American people living here. We burned people accused of witchcraft at the stake. Sometimes I feel there are still some people out there that would burn those who are different, in the name of righteous. It is frightening.
There were great men in history that understood what it means to live according to God's will, but our nation has done both good and evil the same as the people that dwell within in it.
Self righteous people judge others but there are seven deadly sins in the Bible. There is greed, gluttony, pride, laziness, lust - three more I can't remember right now. Each of us is full of our own short comings. How many people in your congregations are gluttons? Is this sin somehow less offensive to God the lust or greed?
The fact is when we are judging and condemning others we are living according to Old Testament law which offers no forgiveness. Those women among us who have had more than one sexual relationship in their lives, according to these laws would be stoned to death. If you do not want to be judged yourself according to the old laws then you need to understand the true meaning of Christ.
I am sick of people arguing that a certain political party is the moral leadership of the country.
I believe the end times are near. I believe we are quickly destroying this planet because of our (this nations) greed to have it all. Of course there is global warming. Of course there is over population. Of course species are dying off at an alarming rate. And of course this cannot be sustained.
So of course there must be a spiritual evolution of our consciousness. That begins by truly praying to do the will of God, not have God approve of our will.
I believe this will result in the eternal peace of paradise. It will be the garden of Eden. There will be no death and no suffering.
Being a sick person I believe I am entitled to the expression of a strong faith as I may not make it. Whatever happens down here I hope this is my last go around.

It is so convicting to consider in 2 Chronicles 7:14 God is talking to us His people, us, those who are called by His Name--what we need to do. It's not talking to the "heathen" and what they need to do.

On the end times...earthquakes are increasing like it said in the bible. Google "l.a. earth.quake prophecy"

It is up to the church (the body of Christ and all God fearing people) of this country to save it. It is a spiritually battle in prayer first as well as a physical one of getting involved and not staying silent anymore. God is always faithful but we must pray for His mercy on this land. That video was inspiring and beautiful. Thank you and God Bless you for showing us.
