Hi everyone, I'm leaving for a family reunion for a few days. Since sunnydays is busy moving, Lymetoo has agreed to temporarily moderate for us until I get back Sunday!
Thanks, Lymetoo!!!
This will just be temporary .... be easy on her with the full moon on Saturday and all.

Me too! I'd say it's been goin' on, but they keep coming off! (Don't look!)
Does dressing modestly on Soul Train make one a qualified editor here?
i'm still pretty new, and with neuro Lyme it's hard to understand stuff, but why does six's family always gather round the full moon?

Oh, great! I think you will make a fabulous moderator.
We were in North Carolina before, in a smaller town, and now we live in a suburb of Los Angeles, near the beach.
I like being closer to more shops and restaurants and all that, but I also just really like the weather. I thrive when there is a lot of sunshine. Probably something to do with all the Vit D.
It was pretty sunny in NC too, but there is something about the weather here that is different....it feels like the sun is stronger or something. And we can open the windows all the time, because the humidity is very low.
I love being close to Whole Foods and all those fun grocery stores....I can walk to a lot of places, a very short distance, which I like. Because sometimes driving is too much hassle for me cognitively...too much going on at once.
I was worried it would be too hectic here, but it is actually very laid back in our community. So I fit right in! Geez...sorry for taking this so off topic! Haha.

Can I be a moderator just to feel the power of the delete button? LMAO. Kidding. If I ever get to remission or good health, maybe.

I don't want the delete button, i'd just like the power to quickly move frightened newbies in screamin' need of a LLMD to "Seekin a Doc" when they post elsewhere.
I figured TuTu's initial complaint about her Soul Train garb was indeed just a cover for her plot to rule this board...
To all of you with YEARS of this under your belt, mucho thanks for being here for summer rush, and my queries.

True - deleting one's own post works every time, but if I ever have a concern about it, I'm not allowed to send a private message to myself so communication can get a little iffy.
Look forward to some lively discussions here between all mods about whether posts should get deleted or moved and to where, and who should get the button.
Lymetoo: I moved the post to Off Topic. Six: I moved it back. Hoos: This is exciting having everyone moderate! Lymetoo: I'm now deleting the San Francisco fog. Six: I think I missed something there. Hoos: Is that off topic? Smile: Move the newbies! Move the newbies! Seek: Just one hour, one little hour, please, with the button? Randibear: Aha - I got the delete button, I got the delete button, marriage, what marriage? Jenifer: Whoops...

When I was working with Anna Lee, I took her decision as the final decision. She did the same with me. So, if one of us moved it, the other didn't question it.
And, you can let me know if you need to delete your post and I'll send you a warning message of why the post was wrong.

Hee hee; guess I missed that one, Hoos.
So here's how to get your own delete button:
Become a moderator at Lyme Friends. That puts you on the Fast Track to becoming a moderator at Lyme Net.

(with a gasping, raspy sound...) Robin, again you make my numb Bell's palsied face ache.
Please add in Tracy and Tincup. This is your area.
I know you can't include Keebler here because her posts are too long for a thread under 19 pages.
My first real question on this thread (no wink): Does Six know she's the most deadpan "straight man" ever? I perceive she does not!
posted
What better way to throw us off, Tracy, than to say everyone except you was Anna Lee?
Actually, whoever guesses Anna Lee's identity correctly should win a prize of some sort, don't you think? Like, I know - become another moderator!! (If Six knows, she's disqualified, since she's already a mod)
Keebler: I'm still doing the research on this, but so far I have been able to find a lot of links to moderated sites, including those done by consensus, modified consensus, consensus with and without blocks, consensus with and without treatment,
voting, voting with elimination rounds, voting by proxy, voting by doxy, voting by amoxy,
80% majority required, 75% majority required, 2/3 majority required, simple majority required, elected, selected, self-selected, by default, at gunpoint*. This is only a start, just checking the PubMod site tonite.
And don't forget to see my previous links to all treatments that can help everyone maintain quality concentration, energy and mood level while doing this very important community service.
*Be nice, Randibear...

Yeah, I've been told that before!
You'll never guess Anna Lee! It took me a week of moderating with her to figure it out, so it is guessable but my lips are sealed!!! Anna Lee??? Are you going to join in???
Just got to Florida! Yup, brought my computer this trip.

but oh, the air hunger! Aching ribs! Frozen face!
Seriously, ow! We need a "ROFLMAO & HMLB" graemlin ASAP!
Someone get Keebler on this thread! I can't breathe!
Logging off to rest...
p.s. - Am wisely staying out of TX until Keebler researches all the safety measures in place or achievable around randibear.

Thanks, Smile - maybe this thread is good exercise for you! Rx: read three times an hour for improved circulation.
More from prospective moderators:
Keebler: If I were moderator, I'd vote to keep any thread with a great link. If there wasn't any, I'd send them a warning message.
Tincup: If they mention CHOCOLATE, the thread STAYS!
Randibear: See my above comment for any clarification. I like toast, by the way. I eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If Lymelife ever gets you into a jam, it's good on toast too. Shoot, I've only just be-gun here...
glm: I told you already, I'VE RUN FOR THE HILLS!
Six: Just so you know, mods in Florida look like this - . But mods in San Francisco in the summertime can look like this: I know, you don't see them in the fog. I'll have to check with Lymetoo to make sure she deletes their fog occasionally so we can see Robin.
R---n123: Re Anna Lee's identity - my guess: was it right under our noses, like Jenifer? More Anna Lee guesses welcomed...

Look, the only thing we knew about Anna Lee is at one point, he/she said he/she could be bribed with chocolate. That's it, no other clues, zip help on this one.
Now, I am aware that one person here - no, couldn't possibly already be mentioned in this thread, could they - goes for chocolate...

Robin, you are hysterical! That Keebler post is PRICELESS! Said with total respect for Keebler, of course! Dying laughing over the sunglasses and fog, too!
I can assure you, I'm not Anna Lee. I was banned once from Lymenet, I think that automatically disqualifieds me from ever being a moderator. Although Lou and I do always kiss and make up after we duke it out!!!
I am thinking she has to be Tincup. I can't believe even Six did not know her identity while modding with her at first! That's funny!

NOW I find out! Geeze! My invitation must have gotten delayed or lost in cyber space.. but nice to know someone thought of me and tracked me down ... FINALLY!!!
And after reading all this and falling over laughing.. I just gotta say...
WHERE"S THE ICE CREAM?
If anyone knows..
Please stick Robin's nose in the empty bowl once I have licked it clean.
And for Pete's sake TuTu... pull up your pants! You are scaring the children.

Ha! At least you said HA here first, Tincup - I knew you'd make it here eventually -
altho, we're all wondering if Anna Lee showed up with you or not. If so, your face in the bowl after mine -
Yes, tutu is a moderator - glm might have had the right idea -
Keep in mind there's always the next fool moon...and six might even be around for it. Hoos gonna check to make sure we have all our mods available then?
I vote for Randibear for Mod Sheriff, to make sure they're all around to do their collective job here.
Jus' remember, all things in moderatortion...
