Greetings! I haven't been here in over three years. My excuse is I found reading the posts made me horribly depressed and I thought I had finally a found a doctor who was going to help me.
I've been in a wheelchair for four years now and although I'm no longer at death's door I still would like to get up and walking again.
There are so many new members and I see some of the Oldies but Goodies too.
In a way I'm glad to be back but of course, I wish it wasn't necessary.
Wishing you all good health.

Hi Monica!
What's been going on with you? Have you found anything that helped you feel better?

Hi Carol!
Actually, I feel great but I can't walk! I have definitely come a long way, but ...
I saw an LLMD who prescribed various abx cocktails. I got worse and worse. Went from a cane, to a walker, to a wheelchair in a year. He kept telling me I was herxing.
I was sure I was going to die if I continued so I got off all abx and consulted another LLMD. I started to improve and can now get out of bed and take care of myself in my powerchair.
Still, I refuse to believe that I will never walk again so I'm going to have to find another LLMD.
How are you doing?

Monica, can you tell me what LLMD you saw that made your condition deteriorate? I'm just curious. More importantly. I'm happy to hear you're making some forward progress.

Hey there Monica!
Glad you are doing better- what treatment do you feel gave you the most improvement?
Also glad you were able to find another LLMD that was a better fit (I think you remember we saw the same LLMD) guess we never got to write a letter for the wall of fame.

OMG, have you changed your user name??? Yes, the wall of praise/shame!
I have been seeing another LLMD for the last 4 years but now it's time for us to part company.
I am healing but I think it's as much healing from the treatment as the illness.
How are you doing???
