He was a good one! My loss that I had several chances to meet him and didn't get to!

Will be thinking of him as I drive by where Jenny lives in Texas over the holidays.

Prayers going up for Jenny and family!

We miss you, charlie!! [group hug]

I have been pondering,,for the last few days,,,what we could do as a memorial to Charlie.

I was thinking of naming something after him, like a bridge, site, road, building,,,anything as meaningful as Charlie.

Anyone have any suggestions?

We could donate a tree and have Jenny plant it somewhere.

Jenny has popped in and posted on Charlie's Lyme Friend's page. We do have a little memorial there to him, but I love the thought of a tree.

I miss Charlie so deeply. He filled a niche in our world that no one will ever come close to filling. There is no question he was one of a kind. Truly, he was one of the few people you would never find anyone saying a bad word about. He was all good, and the funniest damned guy I ever met. Gosh I love that man. I will always miss him terribly.

Hi Gang
I thought I posted here a couple of days ago but it disapeared,I must have hit a wrong button.

I to miss Charlie he was a part of my life for years.

He gave me good father like advice many times.

He and Jenny met me all over the united states on vacations and we floated rivers like the Neobrara, Buffalo,Cumberlin,White Water, with other lyme friends here.

I had plans to float many more with the Buzzards.

Then he was gone.

Been thinking about him for over a week. He was one of the first people that metaphorically held my hand when i first started treatment.

I flew Charlie and Jenny to the border several times on abx runs. He showed me where to go for abx and we'd have a nice meal and an enjoyable trip home. Was very sad to hear of his passing.
