Hi guys,
Just want to make sure I am doing the igenex correctly. I am getting my blood drawn tomorrow afternoon and sending it off the same day. Will the lab techs know what to do? Am I supposed to show them this instruction sheet for the serum and whole blood requirements cause I don't understand it. I am doing the complete lyme panel 6050. From what I understan, I think they are supposed to maybe spin and separate the serum that is put in the red tube? It really doesn't say anything for the lavender tube? I am assuming they are just supposed to send the blood in that one. Also, from what i understand they are supposed to get .5 ml serum and 2 ml whole blood? Am I understanding this.
Thanks for your help,
vdean
