Good Morning All on this start of another new week.

TGIM! Thank God It's Monday [Wink]

This morning I was thinking about how beautiful our Lord Jesus is. Then that verse came to my mind from Ecclesiastes 3:11, "He makes all things beautiful in His time."

"all things" ... that would be you and me. [Smile]

I look forward to reading your posts this week and seeing what God is doing in and through your lives.

God is good all the time and all the time our God is good!

Good afternoon dear friends,

daisy... that's a great scripture...Ecclesiastes 3:11, "He makes all things beautiful in His time."

Friends,

I'd like to ask for prayer for a few things...

I started back on an antibiotic today after being off for 3 months due to elevated liver and pancreatic enzymes and jaundice.

Could you please pray that I will not have any further problems with the enzymes or jaundice, and that the doxy will help my pain and stiffness?

Could you continue to pray for healing of all broken family relationships..and that all people involved will be completely forgiving, loving and respectful?

Could you please pray that my son and daughter will seek the Lord and desire to be obedient to Him all the days of their life?

My husband and I are going to NYC Friday-Monday coming up.

Could you please pray for safe travel and good health?

I know that's alot to ask for prayer for....I do thank you so very much.

You all mean so much to me. I do pray for all of you also...you ARE all beautiful!!!

Lord, please grant complete healing to all here...we do thank You and love You so much! In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen [bow]

daisy ~ beautiful verse! Hmm, Jesus makes us beautiful. Wow.

Dekrator ~ I'm praying with you that the abx will not harm you but will be the extra boost your body needs to eradicate all trespassers (pain, too) and bring you to complete health! May the perfect love of Jesus Christ fill and surround your 'kids' washing away every hurt and lie to reveal truth ... the love of Jesus heals all and the love of their Mom is precious! Please Lord, bless D. with a safe trip overflowing with joy and healing laughter.

The fish oil I've been using is GNC Triple strength Fish oil + krill. I've heard good reports from Omega Brite too.

Praying for each of us ... seems we're in the same boat but I 'see' that Jesus is still in control of even this storm.

Thanks for letting me know which brand of fish oil you are using. Before stopping all my meds and supps, I was taking Carlson's which I really like because the caspules have no taste.

I hope your fish oil contributes to your complete healing.

I hope to restart it soon too...one step at a time.

I like your thought of us all in a big boat and Jesus is there with us, in control...that's comforting.

Dekrator, Thanks for sharing about your concerns regarding starting back on abx. I am praying that all goes smooth without negative side effects. Pray your liver is healthy and functions property as it removes the toxins from the body. Praying for your physical healing in the name of Jesus.

Also praying God would draw each person in your family into a closer relationship with Him. As we draw closer to the Lord, we are drawn closer to others. God sees the desire of your heart for your family to be in loving relationships. He is mighty to save...to save families too!

Have a wonderful, fun time in NYC. God give you strength, surround you and your husband with angels and also the car...traveling mercies. Would love to be joining. I know GWB and me would have lots of fun too.

Thank you for your prayers, I so appreciate them...as we all do. Wanted to share what is going on with me...for those who have been wondering.

I was almost two months symptom free (about ready to stop my protocol...Halleloo!)

I did not relapse...however I was reinfected a little over a month ago. You may remember I talked about the bite and rash several God Thoughts ago. At first I was little achey, then fine, then about a month later the symptoms of Lyme and Bart... From my posts, or lack of posts, you see I've been a little under the weather. Hah!

Well, I am doing better...and believing God that I will be totally healed soon.

I cannot emphasize enough how much detoxing helps me...detox baths (sometimes twice a day, morning and night; dry skin brushing, cns/pns, and other stuff). Also, GWB and I are looking into getting an affordable infarred sauna...even if it is just a one-person kind. We can share [Smile]

Well, that is my latest update.

The good work that God has started in our lives, body, soul, mind, and spirit, He will complete.

daisy ~ I'm sorry you have to fight another infection. When you were more silent than usual, I wondered if you weren't in battle again.

I had another bite a couple weeks before you ... tiny little thing but it seemed to intensify Bart symptoms.

SO, I've been praying for no more bites for any of us! The Lord is our protection.
Psalm 91 1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, ``He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'' ... 5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, 6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. ... 14 ``Because he loves me,'' says the LORD, ``I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.'' This whole Psalm is a great prayer!

I'm so thankful that our Lord gives us hope and healing and the courage to fight this battle.

daisy, what's cns/pns? (sorry if it's obvious) I'm only detoxing with the baths & sometimes dry brushing about 1/wk...and sometimes lemon water.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your prayers. Got my biopsy results yesterday and the lump they took out of my breast was benign.
Praise God!

I never was really worried one way or another. God's peace, it's a wonderful thing.

God's peace really does pass all understanding. People ask us how we know God is real. Well, it's situations like this that confirm it for me. My faith is strengthened.

After my Mom passed away, I found this little poem among her things. I just love it and thought I would share it with all of you.

YEA, linky!!!! [Smile] So happy for you!!!!! [group hug]

While we're sharing....

This poem was sent to my mother and dad by the pastor who MARRIED THEM! This was sent years and years after their marriage.. after WWII .. Vietnam and all the other events of those years, including my dad's disability. It's dated 1988. My parents were married in 1943!!

It is signed by the pastor's wife.

I'm not sure who wrote it.

payne.. where's the pain ( [bonk] ) exactly??

I've been having rib pain... right above my waist on the left side. Some of it is from the way I sit at the computer (I think).. and some is from a touch of scoliosis. It's worst in the early mornings when I wake up. Sometimes so bad that I can't stay in bed. Does any of that sound familiar, payne?

It is beautiful out, isn't it? The glorious weather unlike most Octobers...it has been eighty degrees around here lately and the Fall colors are glorious.

I contiplate the tree outside my upstairs bedroom window and marvel on how just a month ago it was bright green and now it is golden...how did He think that one up? I pause and wonder at the Lord's creativeness.

It smells different outside too...I just love the smell of Fall leaves...and then I think on that and am startled that He even changes the smells of the seasons...and He does all that for our pleasure!

What a smorgasbord for the senses Fall is...the leaves make sounds falling from the trees and woosh across the road and sidewalks with the wind...

I hope everyone can take some time to stop and look, smell and listen to Fall and take a moment to thank God the Creator for his fabulous creation...How can anyone not believe when faced with His handiwork?

Good eve dear God Thought family,

I have been troubled and some days just can't seem to put my finger on it.

So this night, I decided to go back in time on God Thought thread to find an encouraging thought. Well I did, last year at this time was a week of being real on God Thought. So I am going to be real.

I have had the 'Mully Grubs'...meaning, when my face is down and can't seem to pick it up and don't understand it. Once in awhile I have a day.... no more, but it's been days now. I lost my smile and I have tried hard to locate it. I do not like the Mully Grubs, they make me sad.

momindeep.. you are oh, so right about God's handiwork and creativity .. I especially love the fall because in Texas, fall is fleeting and not all that grand. I'm in MO now and some years it's really beautiful. This year we had a drought .. so won't be as nice.. but still wonderful because it all belongs to God.

MDW.. hope you get rid of Molly Grubs soon... I have my days too. I'll have to check out that song!! Thanks for posting it!

payne... ya know what? You could have an inflammation in the tissue between the ribs. I had a friend who had that once. Caused her a great deal of pain and it took them forever to diagnose her. It's similar to costrochondritis.

So funny how God works. I have a childhood friend I recently connected with on Facebook. This morning while at church the Praise Team (me &) was singing Jesus Loves Me. For some reason her name poppped into my head.

I contacted her and asked her what she was doing at 8:30 this morning. She said she and her husband were in the airport in Boston, and they were having their own little worship service together.

So I told her, well I was just worshiping with you!! (I was a little worried that something was wrong.)

God blesses us in so many ways.

And thank you Jesus for sending rain to so many parts of parched Texas. Thank you, thank you!

MDW, I'm sorry to hear that you've been feeling so down. When I go through times like that I find it helps to immerse my self in worship. Even if I don't really feel like listening or reading or talking, it's something that I need to do. When I do set my heart to worship, it changes how I think and feel.

The Bible says to take captive our thoughts (2 Corinthians 10:5), to guard our hearts (Proverbs 4:23), and keep our eyes on fixed on Jesus (Hebrews 12:2).

Sometimes it only takes one song or scripture verse to turn everything around. Sometimes I have to be persistent to stay in the word, continue worshiping, keep talking with God, asking that he change my heart and thoughts and attitude. Sometimes it can take awhile to change how you feel but God is faithful. He has promised "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you'' (Hebrews 13:5).

So how about we worship together and thank God [Smile]

Hello everyone,

So, so thankful for my daughter's doctors. Just returned from her appointments this evening.

My daughter is still struggling with tetanus...but the good news is the other two opportunistic bacteria are erradicated.

I so wish she didn't get that stupid tetanus tho...she was feeling so good, finally, and then the rug was pulled out from underneath her with this.

How grateful I am that the Lord is using these doctors to help my daughter get well.

How very wonderful it is that He has given us this gift of knowledgeable physicians.

All the glory belongs to Him.

I pray that I will dwell on His blessings and keep my eyes fixed on His goodness.

My thankfulness runs deep.

Good morning friends!

Thank you for all your good wishes and prayers!

I am sorry for all the things that all of you are struggling with.

I am praying for all of you too.

I was blessed to read all that I missed while I was in NYC.

We had a great time. The weather was soooo perfect. It was 20 degrees above normal temp for October.

It was 84 degrees on Sunday and the other days were a few degrees cooler. It was glorious!

We had lots of good food. I can't enjoy desserts because of the processed sugar, so I do treat myself to eating gluten when I go away.

Yum!! The linguine bolognese was magnificent!! I ate it several times at different restaurants! The olive oil dipping sauce for the fresh baked crusty bread was to die for. Gotta love Little Italy!!

We had some fantastic filet mignon with peppercorn sauce too.

For lunch on Sat I had some yummy minestrone soup, salad with homemade house italian dressing and some crusty bread with dipping sauce....oh, my mouth is watering now.

The restaurants in Little Italy are so quaint. Often, we ate at tables outside, and the people just stroll along Mulberry Street looking at the shops and restaurants.

On Broadway, we saw "Jersey Boys". It was really good....lots of good music by Frankie Valli.

We had our 15 seconds of fame in Times Square...lol.

Our picture was up on a huge screen/billboard with a message "Hi Deven and Kaden!", right in the middle of Times Square at night.

I took lots of pictures of course.

We attended the church we usually go to when we are there. It has beautiful architecture inside.

We love to visit NYC, but wouldn't want to live there.

It was good to be back home too.

It's good to be back here with my God Thought family.

Praying you all have a good week, filled with hope and joy because our God is an awesome God!!

I haven't been back on the doxy long enough yet to see any difference, but I am hopeful.

I'm starting back slowly...taking it 4 days/week and off 3 days/wk.

Hello,
This is my first time writing on god thoughts but I just wanted to share. I've had a wonderful 3 weeks but the weather is changing and it is affecting me again. The burning in my hands as I type is almost more than I can bear but my LORD tells me to witness.
When my son was 4 he was hit in the head with a wooden baseball bat. Months later he said to me.
"I opened my eyes and I could not see. Then I felt my daddy put his arms around me and lift me up. I opened my eyes and I could see."
I remember this when I have days like today and I feel that I'm in the darkness of the pit. Then I think about my Abba wrapping his arms around me and lifting me up out of the darkness. I open my eyes and I can see again!
Dear Jesus,
Wrap me in your arms so that I feel your comfort. Lift me up so that I may be above this illness. Shine your light on me so that I may see your holiness. Thank you Jesus, for your loving grace on my soul.

Good evening God thought friends! I hope that this has been a great day for you [Smile]

Much has happened this week. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed right now.

I had a follow-up with my rheumatologist on monday. Good news is my labs came back clear of any auto-immune disorders! Yay! The surprising news is that I was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called Ehler's Danlos Syndrome.

This is a collagen disorder that causes hypermobile loose joints (like a contortionist), fragile skin and blood vessels, GI problems, and neuro symptoms. I'm being referred to a geneticist who specializes in this condition for further evaluation and treatment recommendations.

I have mixed feelings about all this. The diagnosis makes sense. I had many symptoms, and I guess you would say oddities, that no other doctor could explain. Now I know why. For example: I don't respond to anesthesia normally, need higher doses as I metabolize meds too quickly. My joints often pop out and back into place on their own. Kinda freaky, I know, but it happens a bunch of times every day.

It does make me sad though, to know that I have 2 rare genetic disorders (EDS and the immune deficiency CVID). And I still have Lyme and a whole bunch of coinfections!

I can't help but wonder, how am I going to get well? The immune disorder made me susceptible to the infections and the EDS made it easy for the infections to cause damage.

I still hope that I will be able to get better. That at least I'll be able to get the infections under control and hopefully manage the immune disorder and prevent complications of the EDS. I know without a shadow of doubt that I will only be able to do these things if it is God's will and he enables me.

Dear friends, will you please continue to pray for me? And for my doctors as they try to help me?

I will be traveling to NY (from Cinci OH) tomorrow. Have an appt with my LLMD on tuesday. My mom and grandma are going to travel with me. If all goes well, we are planning to spend a few days in NYC.

Will you please pray for traveling mercies, safety, provision, good weather (no rain on my PICC line!), and good health? And for my dad who has to stay home for work and will be taking care of my pets.

Will you also pray that my LLMD appt will go well? That God will bless and guide my doctors thoughts and decisions. I am always nervous about these big appts.

Thank you friends! You are a blessing to me [Smile] Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I will definitely pray for you...for all the things that you mentioned.

It is good that you do not have any autoimmune disorders.

God will see you through all of this!

Sorry to hear about the rare genetic disorder...we never quite know what curveball life will throw us next.

Will pray that the geneticist will have a plan of care for you that will benefit you and your health.

Having your mom AND your grandmother with you in NYC is a win win situation in my book...you just cannot go wrong with that combination and then you add prayer to it all and you just KNOW it will be great!!!
