Dear friends, can you all please pray for my family. Found out last night that my 30yr old cousin passed away. This is so sudden and unexpected. I think we're all still in shock.

We had planned to stay and visit NYC for a few days but we cannot do that now. I saw my LLMD today and we're driving home tomorrow. We are still very tired from the long, all day drive that we made yesterday. Tomorrow will be difficult.

I would greatly appreciate any prayers. Thanks so much.

Hugs,
sammy

Oh, sammy, that's so tragic!

Praying for you and your whole family, dear friend.

May God wrap his loving arms around all of you and give you comfort.

Have a safe trip home.

Dear friends,

Could you please pray for my niece, Leanne and her husband?

She had a miscarriage about 10 months ago, and she was pregnant again, supposed to be 12-13 weeks along.

They went to the Dr today to hear the heartbeat for the first time and found out that the baby died at 9 weeks gestation.

They have no other children.

They are devastated, along with my B-I-L and S-I-L who would be the grandparents.

Thank you, friends, it means alot to me.

Dekrator, I will be praying for your niece Leanne and her family. So heartbreaking to lose a baby.

Thank you all for continuing to pray for me and my family. We made it safely home late last night. It's such a long tiring drive. I've been trying to rest as much as possible today.

Tomorrow we will have to drive up to Chicago. The visitation starts at 3pm then funeral at 7pm. Saturday morning will be the graveside service. Just the thought of all this is physically and emotionally exhausting.

It still doesn't feel real to me that my cousin has passed away. He was such a kind, funny, gentle hearted person. He's always been the one cousin I connected with the most. We used to play together as kids and when we got older I always looked forward to hanging out with him.

Life is short. Make sure the people you love know that you love them.

Hugs for my God thought friends [Smile]

sammy,

Thank you for praying for Leanne and her family.

I am praying for you and all your family as you go to Chicago for the visitation, funeral and graveside service for your dear cousin.

May you all experience God's peace and comfort, and may you have the strength you need to accomplish all that you need to do.

Big hugs right back at you!

Thank you for sharing the encouraging verses and songs. Seems to be a difficult time for many of us here lately.

I do have some good news to report. My appt with my LLMD went well last week. I actually remembered to ask some of my questions. (Surprising because I felt so distracted trying not to think about my cousin's passing, trying not to cry). My doctor was very patient with me and I left the appt feeling relieved.

My LLMD made some changes to my treatment protocol so hopefully we'll see some more improvements this month. I will begin to implement those changes gradually this week. Praying that I will tolerate them well.

Tomorrow I will get my 2nd IVIG treatment. I'm excited to be able to receive this and look forward to seeing progress with it too.

Last week I spent over 40hrs in the car traveling between NY, Cinci, and Chicago. I'm feeling pretty exhausted but so glad to be alive. So grateful for my family and friends who I love dearly.

The reality of my cousin's passing hit me hard. Not really sure why. Maybe because we grew up together and were so close in age. His death was so unexpected, he wasn't old or sick. Still can't really verbalize those feelings well.

Later this week my grandparents and aunt will be coming to visit for a couple days. I love them but their visits are always difficult and stressful for my family. Praying that all will go well.

Hugs friends:) I am thinking of you and praying for you all tonight!

VERY sorry to hear about your cousin, sammy. Do they know how he died? You don't have to discuss it if you don't feel up to it. I'll understand.

What a tragic thing for you and for your family. My condolences.

sammy,

Great news about your LLMD appt!

I am also excited about your impending IVIG treatment and hope to hear some good reports!

It's totally understandable about how you have been affected by your cousin's death.

I am continuing to pray for you and your family to find peace and comfort in the day ahead.

I think the reality of death does help us to "just be grateful to be alive", no matter how much we are struggling.

It reminds us how fragile and fleeting life really is.

I'm also praying for a good outcome with your lyme treatment changes and IVIG treatment, and for a good and peaceful visit with your grandparents and aunt.

Hope you can get some good rest, dear friend...and thank you for your prayers.

Big Hugs!!!

Sammy...holding you close in prayer along with Dekrator, linky and dkat.

Wondering how you are Payne?

Lymetoo, is that neck of yours any better?

Is daisy okay?

Waiting on the Lord for answered prayers. Asking the Lord for the patience to wait on Him for answered prayer.

I ask the Lord to draw us closer to Him, to help us rest with joy in the knowledge that we are His and since we belong to Him that we can understand that His grace is sufficient.

His grace is sufficient for all things... everything...including our heartaches, our pain both physical and mental.

His grace covers wayward cells in our bodies, to wayward children.

His grace is sufficient to cover lack of money, disappointments, and loneliness.

Help us be thankful Lord for your perfect gift of grace that you have freely given us...it cannot be earned nor can it be lost to us.

Thank-you Lord for your goodness...help those who have lost their joy to have it renewed.

Thinking of you all,

Sue

Good Morning Friends,

Prayers lifted up to Our Father for each of you. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for me.

I see I have much catching up to do. Going to backtrack this morning.

Since being reinfected I have some ups and downs. When I've felt pretty good, I used that time and energy to do some things that I needed to catch up on.

For the past four days or so I've been feeling a lot better. I'll keep you posted on that.

Blessings for a God Blessed Day and a God Blessed Week.

I'm going to try to catch up on your posts and respond. Then...start a new thread.

Big Hugs to All!

Good Morning Again,

I appreciate each of you for keeping God Thought moving and helping one another.

God is good all the time and
all the time God is good!
And God uses each one of you to show His goodness!!!

Dekrator, Always good to read your encouraging posts and specific thoughts for each of us. Glad you've been with God Thought since the start. So very sorry about your neice and family. That is heart-wrenching situation. Prayers raised to the throne where our God of all comfort reigns. One day...no more sorrow or pain or loss.

Your quote by Mother Teresa...WOW. What a woman of faith, love, and compassion...truly a saint.

sammy, So deeply sorry for your great loss. Oh, my, your cousin only 30. Very, very sad. Your family sure has been through so much lately. May God do what only He can do and pour out His comfort and healing, peace and love.

Lymentoo, Praying for God's healing touch for both your neck and back...and strength for all you do to bring hope and informtion to those with LD and Co.

momindeep, It is hard to wait for God's answers. I can sure relate...as we probably all can. Beautiful what you wrote and true,

"His grace is sufficient for all things... everything...including our heartaches, our pain both physical and mental.

His grace covers wayward cells in our bodies, to wayward children.

His grace is sufficient to cover lack of money, disappointments, and loneliness." AMEN!

Payne, That got me thinking more deeply about angels as you shared, "They are tripping over one another to do,
God's will...Be Thankfull and Humble for the thinks beyond our knowledge... Asking The Lord, to Know we love Him and He is our Shepherd... May He find Joy in Helping us as we find the same Joy in helping others." AMEN!

DKat, I so appreciate your faithful prayers for all of us.

Hopefull, thank you for sharing about your son when he was 4 years old. Great analogy...blind and see, dark to light.

Yes, that is what Our Father does for us. Great verse Micah 7:8, "Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me."

MDW, No more mully grubs? I really like that song, "In moments like this" and may post that to start the new God Thought thread..which is waaaaay past due. [Smile]

linky123, Still Praising the Lord that lump being benign! I had heard that poem by John Baille before. It is wonderful to know that God no matter what we go through...God is with us and He provides what we need in every moment. in everything.

climber, How are you doing? May you be getting encouragment from God Thought.

God Thought Friends...may you all be getting encouragement. I know I am. Thank you all.

Soon I'll be starting the new thread.
