My prayer request this time of night is not for myself, and has nothing to do with lyme.

It's for my good friends son who's being transported to Children's Hospital from a local hospital near our small town as I type.

He was suddenly paralyzed from Brown Sequard Syndrome this evening.

He's only 12 and was healthy and active before tonights scary turn of events.

Not sure his prognosis. Might not look good~ please pray that whatever damage was done to his spinal cord is quickly and completely healed in Jesus Name! No permanent damage done!

Thank you!!

I just saw this request and will certainly start praying right now.

Dear Lord, please touch and heal this little boy like only you can. Please give this family comfort, peace, and strength during this difficult time. Bless and guide the medical staff and caregivers. Thank you Lord. We ask in Jesus name [Smile]

Lord Jesus,

You are the Great Physician. Please put your hands on this child and heal him. Guide his doctors and comfort his family. In Your name we pray. Amen.

Jesus
Heal this child and give the sweet young one peace. Bless the family with your peace and remind them you are with them always.

Heavenly Father, watch with us over your child and grant that he may be restored to that perfect health which it is yours alone to give. Relieve his pain, guard him from all danger, restore to him your gifts of gladness and strength, and raise him up to a life of service to you.

Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

thank you all SO SO much for praying for Reid.

He's been in ICU since the post with a final DX of Transverse Myelitis.

The paralysis didn't moved much above his diaphragm, so this was the first big answer to prayer as his breathing was not affected.

They are unclear of the cause and it's a wait & see game as to how much or how quickly he improves.

He has had little bits of progress finally over the past 2 days. He was able to move a couple of toes on monday, and able to move a leg (with A LOT of effort, and not every time, however) yesterday.

They may be able to transfer him out of icu to rehabilitation next week if he continues to slowly improve, but still has a very long road ahead of him.

Thank you for believing with me, in Jesus Name, that he will heal quickly and completely!

Thanks SO much for praying! =D
