Connie Strasheim's new book, Beyond Lyme Disease, is a must read for all those with chronic Lyme and co.
She points out that Lyme and pathogens just may be part of the problem and not the cause. And many of these issues can be overlooked by conventional testing.
This is what happened to me. I was being treated by a conventional LLMD - with antibiotics, supplements and conventional blood work and other tests.
After years, my pathogen load decreased but I was far from healthy.
When I switched over to a holistic dr. that muscle tests, I was found to have acute heavy metal toxicity, hypothyroidism, adrenal fatigue, parasites,EMF sensitivities, food sensitivities, gastro dysfunction, and unresolved emotional traumas.
Now I am in remission and feeling great!
Everyone is different and there are many ways to heal. But this book may open your eyes to another path.
Healing Blessings Everyone!

I hope you're right! I know more ILAD llmds are aware of more underlying causes than even a few years ago. (My former dr. was ILADS and went to every conference.)
But the point that Connie was making was that many of these problems can be missed by conventional approaches.

But they don't treat parasites which is sooooo important and KEY to getting well. Treating heavy metals is just not enough.
Parasites are now considered the number one co-infection by ILADS. Years of abx are NOT the answer.
Thanks Healerdealer for posting. Sounds like a very informative book. Great that you are feeling so much better.
