The autopsy is pending which means it can take a number of months. They're still doing a toxicology panel and checking her head injury.

Was really sick yesterday with the worst headache I've had in a long time.

Had to take 3 pain pills and 3 muscle relaxers!

Thank you all for being there for me. I really need you all.

Liftng up Kam, LPKayak, and aklnwf in prayer.

I walked 20 minutes this morning--hot outside, ran a few errands and am going to watch some college football.

I really should be writing lesson plans, but....

Kam,

I taped TEACH and watched it today. It was pretty good, but what they did not show was how much time teacher's work outside of school.

Wish I could stand and walk around as much as those teachers did!

Lymetoo, It was on CBS

OH, thanks Hiker!

I spent as much time outside the classroom as IN the classroom each week.

Weekends were not exempt!

Woke up feeling like I might be able to do a few things this am after I took a couple of excedrin. Put a few dishes away, put trash in the hallway (neighbors take it to the dumpster for me), K cup coffee, charging the big power chair, opened the windows, feed cat and dog, charging the phone, took Rosie out for a quick pee via power chair....and I am back down resting.

Hoping to be able to get back up in a bit and do some more in a bit. I just don't know how long it will take me to recover.

kam.. glad you got to camp out a bit. Maybe it will get cool soon!

hiker.. keep plugging away at it and you will make it. Let us know if you got to teach today.

irupp.. what's your story? Glad to meet you!

manna.. hope those fantastic days come SOON!

I went to PT today and my PT is getting married this weekend, so I won't see her for a few weeks. I'm going to see my doctor Thursday and we will decide how much or what kind of therapy I need from this point.

My feet are better again...whew! Now we need to fix my sciatica or whatever it is. It's affecting my feet too.

Hi Lymetoo ill keep it brief,

Woke up march 5th with bells palsy. No other symptoms not even fatigure. Never recall a tick bite.

Dr tested for lyme after about 2 weeks had gone by and everything else was clean including mris cat scans ekg etc...
My elisa was equivical so he referred me to a ID.
Before my appt with the ID I did my own research and found a LLMD at the advice of others. The LLMD drew blood for igenex but started me that day on IV rocephin and high dose of tindazole. I did rocephin a little over a months 7 days a week 4 grams per day. Stopped that and continued on Doxy and tindazole since then. My dosages on orals have been lowered since then and im feeling pretty good. I take a boat load of vitamins, probiotics, and eat good. Thats really about it. I hoping the feeling of well lasts. That's great, irupp! [Smile]

kayak.. make sure you get some help so those fleas don't get out of hand. My FIL's house is full of them and it is miserable.

I hope he gets them OUT OF THERE before we go back at Christmas!

A neighbor just came by and put the tent and some blankets, etc and the kitchen bin in my car for camping.

I had him put the tent in the backseat this time.

I think I goofed up. It looks like I don't have room for the ice chest now, my clothes, etc.

HE also used brut force to close the door. So, not sure how things look inside the kitchen bin.

It isn't that flexible.

Bottom line is I didn't do anything but be on my feet and unlock the car doors and hold up the back window so he could put things in and it has been an hour and I still haven't recovered.

Looks like I better try for first thing tomorrow.

Maybe get some more things in the car some how and hope it is not raining first thing in the morning...as I don't have a cover for my power chair.

It also looks like I am going to need to go back to how I packed things last time...May not be so bad..I just need to move the tent and see if it will go in the bacck with the other stuff.

I thought it would be easier for me to have the tent in the backseat as it is easier to get thing sin and out in the back seat.

Just yammering away...kind of scares me when I gam so weak and the brain can't really take in what is going on.

That is why it is better for me to just do things myself..kind of...weird I know. Catch 22

He also had his dog with him which is a sweetie...but it was a bit more going on with Rosie and his dog scout inter reacting to each other. They both just want to play.

It is like I am not getting blood or oxygen to the brain. Most of it allw as a blur.

Woke at 3 am. I haven't gotten up though except to the go the toilet and put cat out.

Almost 4 now. Going to take a couple of excedrin and check to see what time the sun rises.

Hoping to pack ice chest, finish packing dry goods, get meds in clothing bag and toothbrush and toothpaste, fill the cat bowl to last a few days, and find room in the car for all of this.

Then, drive to campsite and set up tent and cot.

I know it would have been better to do all of this last night but health wasn't co operating.

If I am too worn out after getting things in car, then I will leave tomorrow morning if health co operates.

Not sure about teh food thing. I have been eating spring berry salad but am out of fresh berries again. Don't want to add stopping at the grocery store to my to do list this am.

OK. I checekd the ewahter report and rain is predicted...not just a scatter or short storm..but rain most of the day.

That is OK. I dont' mind laying on my cot in the tent and then getting out when the rain stops to get in the power chair and go for a cruise with Rosie...

I am just concerned about being warm enough.

Every day I think of going camping again. So, going to do what I can each day when able to get ready.

Things on my mind are: look into boxes that were pulled out of storage and see if I can't just put them back into storage.

I will need help getting them from the front room back into storage.

2. Fold the tent up and put in car. Check kind of

3. Wash out the 2 gal jug. check

...But, need to fill it with th elemon drink now and find a place in the car for it

4. Get food...check kind of

5. Pack clothes...check

6. Check weather report as heat makes me worse so need to go when it isn't too hot....check

7. Find something to put on tent floor to protect it from legs of cot and just plain old dirt and mud...using old shower curtains for now and old picnic table clothe

8. pack cooler

9. Pack dry goods..check and in car

10. Pack kitchen bin..check and in car

11. Lantern and flashlight are still in car so that is good

12. Eat and hydrate each day so I will be hopefully strong eough.

13. Et sleeping bags in car...oops...glad I checekd the list

14. Figure out what to do about a bed for Rosie...used old sleeping bag last time

15. Maybe I need to figure out what to do about covers for me. I have the heavy duty down sleeping bag but need something lighter too.

16. Pay rent, utilites, bills before going...check

17. Charge phone and power chair before going...check and in purse I think

18. Fill cat bowls...check

19. OK Brain is going

20. Pack meds/supps....check and in car

21. Find toothbrush and toothpaste and mascara and lipstick .....not sure where they are...they have disappaired since last camping trip

22. Fill gas tank...i think i have enough so can wit until i get back

23. Put handheld solitaire in car...check

24. Load power chair

When I took the sleeping bag out it was beginning to drizzle. Concerned about power chair. I dint' have a cover for it and will not know what it is like on the road until I am on the road.

I did get some bungie cords but not sure where I put them now...I need a heavy duty tarp...alsmot bought one when I was in the store but was running to low on gas

So it will be a wing and a prayer..once I get there I can put the power chair in the stinky outhouse like toilet room ...hoping it is unlocked this time

Ok Ice chest and jug seems to be all that is left and loading power chair..almost 5 am.

Sure hope I have room for the ice chest and jug

OK RE grouping. got the ice chest and jug in the car.

As I was putting the ice chest in I remembered I forgot to add ice...thankfully

I think I just need to load the power chair, put Rosie's long leash in the car, my purse and that is it.

But, checking my list (s) to make sure

Got some free papers from the lobby to start a fire

Regrouping now. All in all. Not bad this am but I'll see how well I did once I get there.

Just need to load power chair and me and Rosie..and pray it doesn't rain on the way

5:30 now. I think I will go ahead and load up.

Sunrise is at 6 am. I dont' want to be driving with the sun in my eyes. I don't do that well.

And I think I will be OK once the car starts to move my body.

Kam, have a relaxing time camping out. I'll be thinking of you.

We have a beautiful fall day here - it was 46 degrees out this AM. The children were chilly waiting for the ride to school.
