I wondered if that was there.

I also have noticed I can't do mixed greens or I can but I will bloat afterwards.

I think brussel sprouts are the same thing.

My probiotic is amazing for bloating. Vsl #3. I just started taking it again as I am trying to re incorporate some things after having my gallbladder removed. Bloating gone.

Even got a ton of candida strings knocked out [Wink] wasn't pretty lol

Leaky Gut and candida go hand in hand. Very good info in the article.

Good job, Kbone!

This is so timely for me! Sometimes my bloating is quite painful and my pants won't fit. I've been at a loss.

I feel smarter for reading the leaky gut article; thanks so much for posting it.

I am wondering what experiences you all have had from the supplements he mentions in the article:

1. Probiotics--how do you know if you are choosing a good one? Do you also eat specific foods, like sauerkraut?
2. Digestive enzymes--I've never heard of these! Where do you find them?
3. L-Glutamine
4. Licorice Root (DGL)
5. Quercetin--I haven't heard of this, either.

I feel so overwhelmed with what I am reading (2 months since my diagnosis) and don't know what things are most important to do to fight this battle.

Thanks for your helpful insights!

HI there!!

I use Adult Formula CP-1 by Custom Probiotics and Essential Enzymes by Solaray. Digest Gold is another good one! They help!

L-glutamine has its drawbacks. It can cause weird brain stuff in sensitive people.

DGL is good if you can take the taste of it.

Quercetin is supposed to help those with mast cell issues.

I think the ones you should focus on are the first two.

If you are on antibiotics, be sure to watch your diet VERY CAREFULLY. You can get candida/yeast at the drop of a hat.

Many patients are put on Nystatin while they are on antibiotics.
