I havent done much today. Been sleepy. I did a lot yesterday and took 5 drops of andro last night so maybe that is making me sleepy
I did go out early when it was cool to put the purple hanging plant In a bigger pot-it was relly root bound and was needing 2 gallonsof water a day to keep from wilting...i hope it is happy andwill last awhule longer-its a really pretty plant
I have been slowly plugging away at putting things away...but i dont know if i'll finish tonight. I might have to take the neighbors somewhere. They do so much for me it feels good to help them out once in awhile
I feel like sleeping again! Guess i need it

Pointermom--Golf is not my game, but so glad you are feeling so well to play.
Super busy at work--no time to exercise the past few days and I have been feeling toxic again. At least there will be no papers to grade over the weekend!
Off to Bible study.

Woo hoo... no papers to grade. I loved teaching but grading papers kept me SO BUSY!!!! I often had mountains of papers to grade when I first started teaching. Then I learned how to cut down on assignments like that!!
I dreamed of the day I could do evaluations and testing via the computer! I was hoping for the day when each kid had a computer on his/her desk and there would be no more paperwork!
I went to the grocery store today and also to the health food store. It's getting to be a regular thing for me to be able to do my own shopping now. YEA!!
I also drove down to the cove (1 mile away) to take pictures. Can't wait to see how it will look when the fall color arrives!

Tutu--Unfortunately kids having computers does not cut down on the paperwork. It is very hard for me to sit and grade a kid's essay on the computer in google docs.
Takes longer and it sets off my myoclonus to be in front of the computer that long.
I will say in science as the year goes on I tend to collect one paper per group that they work on together--cuts amount of grading way down. Or I give a completion grade for their homework and we go over it together.
Can't wait to see your pics of the cove if you can post them.
Bible study was good tonight and we ended with ice cream--yes, I indulged.

Able to be on the trail last night. Logged in what time I left and what time I got back to car on cell phone but I'll need to check later.
Cell phone is in the other room and getting up to get it is too much this am so far.
Able to sit upright so chiro could do the Bio thing...yesterday.
I just sat at a computer with my hand on this large mouse like device as it scanned my hand.
Results show I was in the red for gallbladder and lungs.
I need to read the results again when able..she sent me an email with the results and ask her about them.

That was another thing I was surprised at coming from the corporate world to the educational world.
All the hours that one puts in on their own time...plus money...when i started working with the deaf and hard of hearing there were no supplies...just a classroom
I finally was able to order supplies then they disappeared...there was another teacher that came into the classroom..i can't recall the details as to why she had access to the classroom.
But, I assumed she took them.
But, most of the teaching supplies I used came out of my own pocket. Since I had grade levels form K to 8 I mostly did theme lessons.
It was fun. They helped each other.

Friday:
Able to pick up those paper towels that were covering the spots I cleaned kind of on the carpets.
Able to pick up a few things in the kitchen.
Seems like I did more as I am so worn out.
It is hot and humid here all ready this am at 8 am. Temperature on the web say it is 60 degrees out.
But, that can't be right....it feels much hotter than that. I bet if i turned the air conditioning unit on...which is set to keep the house 85 degrees ..it would come on this am.

I have an old pillow too. (not down) I have one of those dust mite covers too. I also wash the pillow from time to time. I CANNOT find a better pillow .. have looked for years.
hiker.. No, I would not like grading on the computer as you stated. My thought was in reference to a multiple choice type test. Something simple, like a history test. It could be programmed to be done by each student on his/her computer, then the test could be scored automatically. (??)
It wouldn't work for all grading. Carrying the papers around would be more convenient than having to sit in front of the computer to grade them!
Yes, kam... teaching involved so much of our own materials. I used to have nightmares about a fire or a storm destroying all my classroom stuff. My husband's school had a fire once. He got lucky because the band hall escaped, but the rest of the school was gutted.
We also lived near the coast for about 11 yrs and the school where I taught had been destroyed by Hurricane Carla in 1961. (I taught there from the late 70's to late 80's.) The school was only about 20 miles from the Gulf.

able to walk into pharmacy and get one refill.
still trying to get meds via the mail.
last i heard the doctor's assistant had sent my prescriptions to the one line pharmacy last Friday.
But, the on line pharmacy said they had not received them. Bugaboo.
caregiver has been making the phone calls.
she also has been in contact with the local doc i am trying ot make an appt with. i assume it is the doctor's receptionist that would not make the appt unless she had my date of birth.
office as closed today so caregiver said she would call them on monday.
i have left a couple of messages myself but not sure they got thru...brain was fogged in while trying.
i asked that she just leave a message on my land line for the appt date. primary care doc.
getting down the hill to see doc that will work with lyme specialist has been a problem so trying this one out.
tried NP and she closed business shortly after first appt. did not get a bill from her thankfully.
tried nuero she recommended in town and she closed business shortly after 1st appt.
did get a bill from her.
main thing is i am trying ot get the head stuff solved..hate that stuff.

The forest trail was calling me so I went. Thankful I was able to be on it also. I did log in the time but don't have what it takes now to check it so I will do that later.
I do know that even after I got back Rosie still wasn't ready to get in the car so I reclined in the drivers seat while she explored some more.
Neighbor above me is vacuuming..my brain is having trouble typing this and hearing the noise so need to stop.

Then followed a couple of yard sale signs past home and across town on back roads...did not stop at yard sales....just looked as I passed...didnt' see any reason to get out of car and be on my feet.
so good outing Good to get out of the apartment
I'll figure the time factor later..that part of the brain still struggles.

We went to choir rehearsal this morning and had a meeting. Followed that with lunch with our pastor. My husband and I were in two cars. (long story)
I forgot to remind him that I would be stopping by the store before heading home. So I waited about 10 min to call him (allowing him time to get home.)
When I called he said there was a bad wreck and he had to help the people. I said OK and hung up.
Went to the store, came home and saw the ambulance and fire trucks at the entrance to our subdivision. Scary stuff. Did not see the car that was wrecked. (it was behind the fire trucks on the side of the road)
So I get home and ask hubby what happened. He said he came into our subdivision and was getting the mail (right inside the gated area.) He heard a LOUD crash and he thought I might be in the wreck since he thought I was right behind him, coming home.
He went out there and saw that a car had overturned on the slick road. He helped some others get the car flipped and then a nurse arrived and helped the man. The man was at least talking to them. Don't know how he is.
It's a really scary place at the entrance because people come flying down the hill and across a bridge there. My husband thinks the man was driving too fast and/or hydroplaned.
Hope the guy is OK.
So thankful that BOTH of us escaped. The guy could have hit either one of us head-on.

I cant believe its 5 and not one raindrop yet. I need enough rain so bees and skeeters cant fly so i can put those purple plants in the ground before they totally die
I think i will nap til i hear the rain. It must be thundering all around us cuz i cant her it but etta keeps jumping up and dashing to me and tries to lie on my chest...she does that when shes scared

What is "tsp?"
It's downright cold here. I was going to sit out on my balcony and it was 66 degrees out there at 5 pm. I had to come inside since I had on capris and a short sleeved shirt.
