Amen brother!
I learned listening to a sermon today that there are two places in the Bible telling how we can be blessed. Reading and gaining understanding of the Book of Revelation.
Revelation 1:3
3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.
Revelation 22:7
7 “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
Come Lord Jesus!

I watched a very uplifting sermon yesterday called "All is Well" by Joel Osteen. I needed to hear it as my dear son is having increased fatigue and some air hunger (I'm wondering if Babs hasn't returned or if it's the Myco doing this).
Anyway, I wanted to share it with you and pray it gives you positive, God-filled encouragement:

This quote was part of a sermon which included when David felt deserted. It can hold true for those with chronic illness.
Scripture commentator Alexander MacLaren offers this description of the process: “The soul that has to wade through deep waters has always to do it alone.… We have companions in joy, but sorrow we have to face by ourselves.… Unless we have Jesus with us in the darkness, we have no one.”2
I was following the woman sentenced to death for being a Christian. She had her second child in prison. I didn't watch the video yet. Will try later. There are many in prisons for their faith in Jesus. Pastor Saeed is still in prison. He's been beaten repeatedly.
Please offer a prayer for those close to the Pennsylvania State Trooper who was gunned down recently. He was buried yesterday. The other Trooper also shot is able to talk now. The family of the gunman and the gunman will be in my prayers also.
Both families are hurting. Please also pray he is captured soon as the entire Pocono areas and beyond are feeling very uneasy. Many schools remain closed. I've been reminding myself of how many times Jesus says "Fear Not".

I will be better For all I’ve endured, I will be better.
I know pain; I know disillusionment, as I have been betrayed by my own body. I have been tried by fire and hell that many never face.
Yet, given time, I stood tall, I prevailed. I have succeeded, I have won. For all I’ve endured, I will be better.
So now, when others hurt around me, I do not run from their pain Just to save myself discomfort.
I see it, mourn it, and join them in theirs. I listen, and even though I can’t make it better, I can make it less lonely.
I will not be careless with my love.
I have learned the immense power of another hand, Holding tight of mine, of other eyes that moisten as they learn to Accept the harsh truth when life is beyond hard.
I have learned a compassion that only comes By walking in those shoes, I have learned to appreciate life.
Yes, for all I’ve endured, I will be better.

Thought for the Day: “God knows you better than you know yourself. Place your trust in Him and His will rather than your own emotions and desires. There are times that your emotions can deceive you and make you choose to go down the wrong path. His guidance, through His given Word, will never steer you wrong.”
I hope you have a great day today!

Hopingandpraying: That really touched me. Thank you. The love of my life who has been taking care of me all of these years is now facing and experiencing health issues. May be very serious. He's scheduled for an echo on Tuesday and on top of that is exhibiting many Lyme symptoms. The heart condition is often the cause of sudden death. I will be better.
Thank you Dekrator. That is what is so needed. I have to keep reminding myself "fear not". Also if He takes care of the sparrow, why would He not take care of us?! Thank you all.

Continued prayers for everyone, including you and your love, Pocono.
I am trusting that God will take care of him and all of us.
I am in search of a book that may help someone that I know.
Her Mom died in a car accident 3 yrs ago. She (the daughter) was driving the car and her Mom was a passenger.
The accident was not her fault. Another driver pulled out in front of them causing the accident.
Even though common sense tells the adult daughter that she is not responsible for her Mom's death, she still experiences a lot of guilt.
She said she often thinks things like, "I killed my Mom", "My Mom would have wanted to be alive but she isn't because of me", "If only I had not asked my Mom to go shopping that day, she would be alive."
She is a Christian and has grown closer in her relationship with God since the accident.
She has already been to counseling. She said she is definitely doing better than she was before, but still doesn't experience true joy in her life.
She has fun with her grandchildren, etc, but she does not feel joyful.
Inspirational books are helping her, but she said she hasn't read one yet where people in similar situations give practical advice about how they handled the guilt and overcame it.
I talked to her for a long time. I told her the promises of God in the Bible is where all her hope can be found.
She said she knows that, but she still needs to read stories from people who have overcome the guilt related to being the driver in the car where her Mom died.
If anyone knows of any specific books, or even youtube videos, etc that I can share with her, I would appreciate it.
Thank you dear friends.

Sorry Lymetoo. I deleted the post that caused the wide thread. It was me.
Thank you all for your prayers. My husband is going for further testing on Tuesday which may or may not confirm his recent diagnosis. I prayerfully hope it won't be confirmed and no other problems are found.
It is in regards to his heart and he just turned the young age that his dad suddenly died of a heart attack.
Dekrator: Yesterday I searched for about an hour for something for your friend and nothing seemed appropriate that I was finding. I searched under survivor guilt. Mostly what was coming up was dealing with soldiers. PTSD which is most likely what your friend is experiencing?
I recently saw where a doctor has been trying the drug ecstasy with PTSD patients with great success in 3 sessions and no addiction. Apparently that drug used to be available to physicians until it was being abused which led to it being illegal. I will keep her in my prayers.
Love and hugs to all. Keeping all of us in my prayers.

Memo from God
• Date: Today • To: You • From: God • Subject: Yourself • Reference: Your Life
Instructions for following the Ten Guidelines from God Effective immediately, please be aware that there are some changes YOU need to make in YOUR life.
These changes need to be completed in order that I may fulfill My promises to you to grant you peace, joy and happiness in this life. I need your full co-operation and I apologize for any inconvenience, but after all that I am doing, this seems very little to ask of you.Thank you.....GOD.
1. QUIT WORRYING: Life has dealt you a blow and all you do is sit and worry. Have you forgotten that I am here to take all your burdens and carry them for you? Cast all your anxiety on Me. I care for you. (1 Peter 5:7)
2. PUT IT ON THE LIST: Something needs done or taken care of. Put it on the list. No.... not YOUR list! Put it on MY to-do-list! Let ME be the one to take care of the problem. I can't help you until you turn it over to Me. And although My to-do-list is long, I am after all... God! I can take care of anything you put into My hands. In fact, I take care of a lot of things for you that you never even realize! For nothing is impossible with God!(Luke 1:37)
3. TRUST ME: Once you've given your burdens to Me,quit trying to take them back! Trust in Me. Have faith that I will take care of all your needs, your problems and your trials. Problems with the kids? Put them on My list. Problem with finances? Put it on My list. Problems with your emotional roller coaster? For My sake, put it on My list. I want to help you. All you have to do is ask. Ask, and it will be given to you.(Matthew 7:7)
4. LEAVE IT ALONE: Don't wake up one morning and say, "Well, I'm feeling much stronger now, I think I can handle it from here." Why do you think you are feeling stronger now? It's simple. You gave Me your burdens and I'm taking care of them, so don't try to take them back. I also renew your strength and cover you in my peace. Don't you know that if I give you these problems back, you will be right back where you started? Leave them with Me and forget about them. Trust in Me with all your heart.(Proverbs 3:5)
5. TALK TO ME: I want you to forget a lot of things. Forget what was making you crazy. Forget all the worry and the fretting But there's one thing I want you never forget. Please, don't forget to talk to Me !-- OFTEN! I love YOU! I want to hear your voice. I want you to include Me in the things going on in your life. I want to hear you talk about your friends and family. Prayer is simply you having a conversation with Me. I want to be your dearest friend. Talk to Me daily! Pray without ceasing...(1 Thess.5:17)
6. HAVE FAITH: I see a lot of things from up here that you can't see from where you are. Have faith in Me that I know what I'm doing. I am in control of everything, even if it doesn't seem like it sometimes from your viewpoint. Believe Me, you wouldn't want the view from My eyes. I will continue to care for you, watch over you, and meet your needs. You only have to put your faith in Me. Faith is being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see.(Hebrews 11:1)
7. SHARE: You were taught to share when you were young.. Don't forget that now, the rule still applies. Share with those who are less fortunate than you. Share your joy with those who need encouragement. Share your laughter with those who haven't heard any in a long time. Share your tears with those who need to cry. Share your faith with those who have none. Do good and share with others, for with such sacrifices I am pleased.(Hebrews 13:16)
8. BE PATIENT: I managed to fix it so in just one lifetime you could have so many different experiences. You grow from a child to an adult, have children, change jobs, learn trades, travel to many places, meet thousands of people, and experience so much. How can you be so impatient then when you think it takes Me a little longer than you expected to handle something on My to-do-list? Be Patient--Wait on Me. Trust in My timing, for My timing is perfect. You may think I am slow, but remember....I am never late. I have your best interests in mind and know when the time is just right. Wait on Me; be strong and take heart and wait for Me.(Psalm 27:14)
9. BE KIND: Be kind to others, for everyone is fighting some sort of battle and I love them just as much as I love you. They may not dress like you, or talk like you, or live the same way you do, but I still love them. I love all My creation Please try to get along, for My sake. I created each of you different in some way. It would be too boring if you were all identical. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ, I forgave you.(Ephesians 4:32)
10. LOVE YOURSELF: As much as I love you, how can you not love yourself? You were created by me for one reason only -- to be love and to be loved. I am a God of Love. Love Me. Love your neighbors. But also love yourself. It makes My heart ache when I see you not loving yourself. You are very precious to me, don't ever forget that. I created you to be someone special. My works are wonderful. I created your inmost being; I knit you together in your mother's womb. You are fearfully and wonderfully made.(Psalm 1 39:13, 14)
PS:I wrote all of this in a book a long time ago. It is called the "Bible" Please try to read it daily. It will help you to remember all of these things. I love You...God

I love how we share God's Word, encouragement, warnings,... His Book is so full of information.
I'm so grateful for all of you. Here is God's reminder.
A Reminder from God
I was regretting the past and fearing the future. Suddenly I heard God speaking, "My Name is 'I AM.'"
He paused. I waited.
He continued, "When you live in the past with its mistakes and regrets, it is hard for you because I am not there. My Name is not: 'I WAS.'"
"When you live in the future with its unknowns and fears, it is hard for you because I am not there. My Name is not: 'I WILL BE.'"
But when you live in this moment, it is not hard, because I am here. My Name is: 'I AM.'"

FIVE FINGER PRAYER
This is a good way to pray--everyday!
1. Your thumb is nearest you, so begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the easiest to remember. To pray for our loved ones is, as C. S. Lewis once said, a "sweet duty."
2. The next finger is the pointing finger. Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, doctors, and ministers. They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction. Keep them in your prayers.
3. The next finger is the tallest finger. It reminds us of our leaders.
Pray for the President, leaders in business and industry, and administrators. These people shape our nation and guide public opinion. They need God's guidance. Remember to pray for your boss or supervisor also.
4. The fourth finger is our ring finger. It is surprising to many that this is our weakest finger, but any piano teacher will testify that it is a fact.
It should remind us to pray for those who are weak, in trouble or in pain. They need your prayers day and night. You cannot pray too much for them.
5. And lastly comes our little finger - the smallest finger of all, which is where we should place ourselves in relation to God and others. As the Bible says, "The least shall be the greatest among you."
Your pinkie should remind you to pray for yourself.
By the time you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively. --Author Unknown

Is your husband taking lots of magnesium for his heart??? Please make sure he takes a good one!! Keep us posted on how his tests come out.
I much to be grateful for today .. (as every day .. but especially now) .. Thank you, Jesus!
I love the 5 finger prayer. I've seen that before. I need to print it out!
Been doing a Bible study here in town, besides the one at church. It's been SO GOOD for me! I feel so blessed to be able to do it.
PS> .. Love the "I AM" too... thanks...

I did start him on magnesium. Thanks for that thought. I'm still not sure about which one is best. So much conflicting information!
The receptionist called and gave some information but I won't take that to be very accurate from past experiences. The report should come in the mail either today or Monday.
The five finger prayer does help me. I can even remember what each finger is.
A Story from the Pumpkin Patch
A woman was asked by a coworker, "What is it like to be a Christian?" The woman replied, "It is like being a pumpkin." God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off of you.
Then He cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff. He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, and greed.
Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see."
